Ah Jacci, we crossed posts. Both extremes of the DD I think! I've only just joined up after 6 weeks, the last of which had 5 UDs so I'm just thrilled to be back on track. 4 I dislike Sunday DDs, but today is not bad. I've had 1 stalk of celery with some dressing as dip. I have the DD shivers so may have some broth soon.

So far, so good! I'm going to do another day of no eating until dinner. It worked so well day before yesterday. I had a crummy UD yesterday. I went to volunteer at our food co-op & by the time I was finished, I was nauseous! I stayed that way all day. Yuck! I feel much better today, thank goodness!

3 today. I'm hungry and have some work to do so sitting at my kitchen table working because DH has taken over the home office. I am too close to food and annoyed because I am not relaxing on a beautiful Sunday. I have already had 250 calories so I am thinking this may be a 500 cal day which I try to avoid. Drat and double drat!

I won't risk putting a number on my DD since this is my first one. It has been a challenge but I'm sure with some special planning it will be easier next time. I am feeling hungry but I can sorta ignore it as long as I focus on other things.

I have a feeling my house is going to be SUPER clean every DD lol

HIYE, there's nothing wrong with a SUPER clean house! Hang in there! DD's will get easier.

TryingJudd, there's nothing wrong with a 500 DD. Accept it, and don't worry about it. That's what I love about JUDDD! It sure cuts down on worrying so much about food!!

I had a good day-- 4. I did get COLD at some point (can we get a shivering smiley?) but it got much better.

Yes, DDs seem to be where you can get things DONE, especially if you don't need too much brain power
We got a bar for the back sliding door (instead of an old table leg ) and lights for the front walk, turned in some prescription DH had lying around, and got all the candy AND pumpkin for halloween.
Now I've planned my UD for tomorrow and my next DD where I have to go for a colleague's b-day lunch. He wants to go to the burrito place, so I looked up their menu (it's a chain) and decided I can skip my butter breakfast and have those 70 cals with a veggie salad, and still have a lovely dinner

All in all, today was a good day

Well, its rainy and cold and crappy here. Last night, I was fully sick to my stomach b/c I think I used steak sauce that was WAY expired

Im on my 6th DD , going well so far about a 5! Its still early on in the day and Im at work. So I have lots to keep me busy. I find DDs the hardest during the weekends and at night time.

Cold and rainy here too. I think I'm still full from "The Great Burrito Challenge" at work yesterday, so today's going pretty well. It's only 7:30 though, so we shall see how it pans out later.

...H U N G R Y.......... Solid pangs all day and I'm now just dying for dinner. Cd be the 2 glasses of wine last night or TOM well & truly overdue. Ah well, nearly @ dinner & then bed time's not too far away so a 3 I think. Loving the opportunity to vent, btw. Most useful thread

2- I'm paying for my sugar binge yesterday. My body is asking where is that fuel that is supposed to be used for today??? It's 1PM here and I just had 60 cals - one magic pop with a slice of light cheese. Tummy is growling and I am ignoring it. When it gets to pains I will cave (sensibly) because I have to concentrate on work.

I got stuck at an unplanned restaurant for lunch, so had to make a decision on the fly. Had a 100cal turkey burger and lettuce, so I think I'm ok, will just decrease my dinner a wee bit.

Even without my morning DD butter treat ( it) I'm still a good 4. : )

So far I'd say 3 or 4. I thought early this morning it was going to be a hungry day, but it hasn't been so bad. I guess I'm just feeling a bit blah today in general. I'll have my tea lunch soon and look forward to a small amount of brisket for dinner. I can do it!

Hi gang, I am say 3.5 today. Had a big food day yesterday and I think my body enjoyed it too much, lol.

So after gym I needed some protein and I ate an ounce of last night's lamb, which reminded me how delicious it was.

Had a 10cal broth and am now planning a Nori wrap with something. Hmmm, this may be a 500 DD, but that is okay.

It ended up being a 4.5 yesterday. I went to lunch early, and wasn't really hungry, but had my chili because I knew I'd be getting dinner a little later than usual (Parent/Teacher conference after work). Then, when I got home, I wasn't really hungry, but the kiddo had pizza and it smelled good, so I had some cucumber and tomato just to have something. I went to bed freezing and slept pretty well. My DD's have gone pretty well since starting. The hunger is getting less each DD and I never felt bad because after doing a VLCD for 16 weeks I think that means I'm kinda used to it lol. I have done well with not over eating, at most I've probably gone over my DD allowance by about 50ish calories, so not too bad. The thing is I'm already starting to 'struggle' with my up days. I keep going over! I'm not doing it because I still feel hungry. I'm just eating for the sake of it. It's not going to be a quick fix to correct my greed. I've been an emotional eater and an overeater/eating for the sake of it for years now. When I say I keep going over, it's by about 500-700 calories eeeeek! I managed to get my last 2 up days pretty much on target but messed up again yesterday (it was an UD) and went about 500 over again. Need to work on this! starting from my next up day on Friday.

Yesterday's was good. Coffee and veggies while driving. DD ended at midnight in Montreal after theatre. Shared a beautiful meal with my son (an actor) after the show. Seems every time I come to Montreal, the DD ends at the stroke of midnight. Straight out of Cinderella.

My family made a last minute decision to eat out last night, so I kind of went way over my UD limit, but I'm not gonna freak. I know today will be a bit of a challenge, but I will make it! I'm gonna try to avoid eating until I just cannot avoid it any more since that seems to be when things get rougher.

I'm gonna try to have at least a 4 day today!

No idea how this DD will turn out, but I'm feeling very motivated and optimistic this morning. Planning to fast (via BPC) until dinner. Way better than I felt Wednesday, my last DD. Woo Hoo! Boy am I gonna get stuff done today!

Doing ok today. It's about 1pm and I just had my first food- a 180 cal special k protein bar instead of a lovely hotel lunch. Took a 1.5 hour walk this morning. Hoping to fast till dinner now and eat moderately for a maintenance kind of DD. Repeat after me - no wine!
