Wait.. how could that come up to 115 calories? I know cucumber is very low in calories, and the Magic Pops are only 15 calories each. I thought a single wedge of lite Laughing Cow cheese was only 35 calories? Even a full CUP of sliced cucumber is only 14 calories.

Maybe you have a lot fewer calories tied up in this meal than you think, and you may have a lot more calories yet to enjoy after all.

LOL SoHappy - you are right! It is only 100. My calorie counter replicated my last magic pop day and put in three instead of two.

2 magic pops - 30
1 lite laughing cow - 35
1 very large cucumber -35

total= 100

Woo Hoo! That leaves a few more calories for something additional later, or.. an even lower calorie DD! Either way is real nice.

Cindy.
You're British, yes?
And though this is the first I'm hearing of this, am I to understand that you don't like *cucumber* ?

Does the Queen know?

I'm pretty sure this is cause for expulsion from the UK.

I believe Australia was populated with cucumber-deny'ers. Perhaps we should have you re-homed there.

(deniers? denyers? hmmm )

I sort of hate to post after reading Demonica is having hard time today.. hope next DD is better for you, Demonica..

But just reporting that I had a completely easy DD today and couldn't finish three of my mini-meals at all. Just too full for all of them.

UD tomorrow, daughter is arriving. Looking forward to a good visit.

I'll give it 4.

Doing okay so far. Been to the gym had a boiled and a cup of coffee.

Planning miso soup soon, a cup of tea later, and a small kebab this evening with a salad.

I'm having a MD and I think I prefer DDs, to be honest.

I've had my breakfast, my lunch, and added a small snack. Can't eat any more before dinner or I'll go over.

sigh. I'll walk the dogs, bake a cake for my cousin's dinner tomorrow, and grit through this.

2.5

Pretty good so far. Having my "lunch" coffee w/HWC right now. I'd say a 4 food and eating wise. My back is hurting me, but not making me want to eat so far (for comfort!).

Made a choice to eat a little more than originally planned. I am guessing I had 500 today. And it was definitely a good 4.

My day has turn out to be a 5. I tried the mini-meals (40 calories) on the hour and I have to say I like it. I wasn't really hungry all day and it was really simple. Hope it shows tomorrow on the scale. Thanks Pat for the great idea.

I've had a good DD! After my first UUAD yesterday, I got right back in rotation and couldn't be happier with JUDDD!

But, today instead of eating hourly, I didn't eat all day until dinner. I was afraid if I ate anything earlier I would want more. I sat down to my dinner of chicken breast with broccoli slaw sprinkled with parmesan. It was so good. I couldn't finish it tho! What?!????? Hello?? Have you met me?? This is SO not like me to not finish dinner!! I have 130 calories left for today & I'm not sure I'll use them to make 400!

So, I guess you can say I've had a 5 day! WoooHooo!!! I've got to be up & gone by 5:15 in the morning so I can help with our food co-op. What a great day to get fresh veggies & fruit! Yum!

Shari

Not so good today due to carb overload last night. Probably a 3 or maybe 2.5 DD today. Been testing my BG lately and wanted to see the effect of large amounts of white rice so I had 3 big orders of sushi rolls. Boy, the BG spike was scary and stayed up for hours.

Feeling hungry but it's only 1:13pm here and I usually have no problem breezing through DDs on nothing but plain coffeee until dinnertime. Will go do some cleaning and hopefully it'll take my mind off of it.

4-ish Not sure. It is 4:30. Have been eating every hour but want to eat more than 40 cal. Have 120 left to stay under 500 and getting a little nervous about this evening, but maybe the appetite will quiet down before then. Not unreasonably hungry, just have this constant polite little voice asking me to please eat enough to feel satisfied. May just skip 2-3 hours and have one satisfying meal to wrap up the day. Am trying to stay away from broth. What I have is not low sodium and I think it may be responsible for several days at same weight. I want to see 202 again so I can move past there.

Yes, Carly, really lovely.

I love tomatoes too. And endives.

I had a hungry morning but chose to ignore it. Definitely carb induced, last night I had pizza. But I have now had some broth and am feeling fine.

So I'll give 4.

Hmmm... This DD flowing nicely. Some miso, a HB egg & some French Onion soup around the corner with... shock, horror!... a cheesy crouton on top. ONE cheesy crouton, it has to be said I've spent the afternoon baking muffins for the freezer (& tomorrow ) & I've been untempted so I'm going to say a 5. I've also really been appreciating the space the DD provides... Not much food-related stuff going on leaves so much time, space & energy for getting lots done. Yay!
