Nauseous - is that normal?
I've been feeling a little nauseous for the past hour or so.. I ate lunch, and feel a little bit better, but still kind of yucky.. Is that normal?

You might try some ginger tea or peppermint tea for nausea. I like it iced and hot and it's a great way to assuage hunger as well as nausea. You can also take ginger capsules though that might not agree so well with an empty stomach because the capsules are so concentrated.

Hope your feeling better. I haven't had that as a DD related issue.

I feel fine now, thanks! Just a little hungry - I have about 25 calories left, and there's a baggie of roasted zucchini and 1/2 a wedge of LC light in the fridge for my before-bed snack that'll take care of that, I think!

September is my ninth month JUDDDing. Usually I sail through DD.
But, once in awhile - and fer shure once a month when my post-menopausal hormones try to to run - I get nauseous and shaky. Those days I eat at or above my 35% calculation. Then I either lose or remain at the same weight (have never bounced up after one of those DDs). For some reason I only feel that hunger when my body really needs and is ready to burn the extra calories. |

This is the day after my first DD back on JUDDD and I almost fainted and threw up
in the shower this morning (luckily, I rinsed quick, and sat down until I could make it to the fridge for tea). I think it was more dehydration and lack of sleep, not so much lack of food. Despite feeling extremely nauseous I ate a breakfast of eggs, toast, and tomato, and a couple of hours later (now) I'm eating a granola bar, had two big glasses of unsweet tea, and a diet soda (feeling much better!). I have issues with low sugar and low iron, and I NEED to eat my calories on my up days, or my DD are going to become dangerous - I see that now. I guess to prevent day after down day issues - drink plenty of water, tea, and other no calorie liquid. For me, I need to eat, so I eat things that are preportioned out, so to avoid guessing (canned soup, lean cuisines, etc) Or I'll eat a big bowl of mixed salad greens with lemon juice or fat free italian dressing. Just gotta find what works for you.
