The scale is infuriating me today but for 1pm on a DD I have to say I physically feel pretty great. The best I've ever felt on a DD.

B. Egg beaters omelette stuffed with laughing cow cheese wedge + 1/2 serving Chocolite Shake blended together with ice and coffee (156 cal)
L. 2 Hebrew National 97% Fat Free Beef Franks + Cup of Kimchi (110 cal)
D. Homestyle low carb chili on Miracle Rice (250 cal)

@500 cal total

Might ditch one of the hot dogs or have the chicken chili to reduce the calories a little bit more given how cruel the scale is being to me. We'll see.

Don't know why today's DD isn't quite working for me, but I'm trying to get into the right frame of mind-- I do know why actually-- got up too early, b/c I had to drive DH to work b/c his car is in the shop, then I came back and napped-- which means that I didn't get my green tea in at the right time...

then I sort of messed something up for work and while it can be fixed, I was annoyed with myself-- and got HUNGRY.

Anyway, I think I have a handle on it, and instead of pretending it didn't happen (what? me? no!!!!) here's my day so far, and the plan for dinner.

I checked and if I stick to this, I'll be somewhere between 35% and 40%, which is still a DD (my MD is like 1300).

B: 1 hb egg, 1T lite mayo, 1/2 a flat bread (45cal just for that)

L: 2 turkey pepperettes, 1 slice bacon, 1 triangle of cheese, 1/2c of sauerkraut
green tea iced tea

D: plan is for chicken and tofu shirataki noodles with pb sauce. I can lower the calories here, so we'll see if I go for 6oz chicken and 2 packages of noodles, or something less...

Soup (broth, Swiss chard, carrot, tomato, basil) approx. 100
330.
Finding that coffee extremely satisfying. May try jut the coffee next DD. Have always been a give-me-the-food woman. Strange.

I was SO in the mood for the DD sandwich and "chips" for 250 cals I found in the DD recipe thread, but I couldn't find the Joseph's Low Carb pitas or that Boars head brisket it called for

So threw together this-
3 oz of beef steak strips (140) with 2 tbsp of Walden Farm's BBQ sauce on a thin bun (90) and it was darn tasty!

Not sure about later though. Maybe the hungry girlfredo for dinner.

It's the fat. It does a pretty good job of holding the raging hungries at bay. And your version has been good for me too. Today, however, I mixed my coffee with a protein shake for a mocha shake. And that also worked. So it may be the caffeine + protein or fat is helpful.
