Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Thanks to someone...don't remember who or in which thread, but someone recently posted one of their favorite snacks as roasted Brussels sprouts...fired up the toaster oven today and roasted up a bunch...very delicious and a great addition to the recipe file. So, thanks to whomever posted them...

that sounds good! I didn't see the recipe. Did you put EVOO on them and salt? What temperature for how long in the toaster oven?

No recipe. Cut off the ends and lost a few outer leaves in the process, cut them in half and placed 'em in the pan cut side down, sprayed a little oil on them, and stuck 'em in the oven for about 20 minutes until they started turning brown and ate a few while still hot with a couple of wings which I had backed as well. I think I would recommend salting them after they come out of the oven while still hot, tho'. I salted 'em when they went into the oven which was okay, I think.

I have these at least weekly. you take a 1 lb of brussel sprouts, trim the ends, cut them in half, I lay them on baking sheet with pam spray cut side down, or you can toss them with 1 tsbp of olive oil, 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 pepper, 1/4 garlic powder. cook in 425 oven for 20 min or put them under the broiler. they are tasty. yummy! The more oil the tastier they are!!

I roast tiny bits of broccoli until they are 'just' burnt. Just Pam spray and really hot oven. everyone love it.
