Salmon salad with tons of veggies for as late a lunch as I can last and then I'll have a small taste of buffalo meatballs in tomato sauce with my husband and son tonight if I feel hungry.

My first proper DD for two weeks so I'm a bit nervous but so far so good (posted at 12.14)

Going to fast as long as possible, I started it at 7pm yesterday, so 12 hours already.

Coffee; tea
I have some zucchini (julienned as "pasta"), pasta sauce and 98% lean meatballs ready to cook when I get hungry, so around 200 cals once I eat.

yesterday I had ..bouillon at about 3 pm..then fasted till 9 pm..had 2 turkey rashers..50 kals and stirfry veg for about 40 kals...for dessert had a frozen meal replacement shake mixed with frozen strawberries for dessert.. 500 kals for the day.

Interesting option, Dottie-- has me thinking..

Here's my plan today though:

B: say it with me mango chili green tea (1/2L, will have the other 1/2 through the day)
vitamins at some point

L: 1 triangle of cheese, 4T of sauerkraut

D: continuing with cabbage-- 1bag of slaw, 7oz of chicken breast, stir fried with spices

Des/S: 1c chocolate almond milk with gluc = pudding (probably with some caramel walden farms mixed in)

498 cal

10:00 Coffee mixed w/ vanilla whey protein shake & 1/2 C. Fiber One bran cereal.
2:00 Chocolate RL meal replacement shake w/ 1 TBS peanut flour.
6:00 4 oz. chicken breast & stir fried coleslaw mixture

I'm not sure of the best way to stir fry the coleslaw, but I'm thinking of using chicken broth.

you betcha! it's actually called mango diablo, and I save it for DD's b/c a) the caffeine seems to help me and b)I love it so much, it's nice to have a DD treat, KWIM? I have it cold-- brew fresh, pour over ice, sweeten a bit, enjoy.

that would work, but I use a spritz of olive oil (bought a mister for this) or I've used Pam also. Honestly, there's enough water in the cabbage to basically use the pan dry, and it just softens up and it seems to work.

I add some chili/garlic paste, or sriacha, to mine, or even Franks hot sauce.

All these things sound yum! Today is my dd too, so far:

indulged in pork rinds, just couldn't work them in yesterday ;-) (55)
egg drop soup (76)

I just made Beeb's DD Pumkin Pie. The crust came out good, had to wet my fingers to mash it around in the pan and even it out. I baked it for about 12 minutes instead of microwaving it. The pudding filling, I added an extra .5cup almond milk and .25tsp. gluc Don't know if I messed it up, it has a funny crust on top. Plan to dig in soon!

Couldn't wait any longer, cut the pie:



The flavor is fabulous and I adore the crust because I like a hard chewy crust ;-) I think the filling could use the addition of some gelatin. Next time, I won't pull the crust up the edges of the pan so much and I'll stick more closely to the recipe, will probably add some gelatin to even out the gluc flavor/texture.

for breakfast, 1/2 apple, 70

for lunch I made my own version of a homemade Subway Tuna Salad with bell pepper and cucumber, about half the amount of tuna they use, 180

for supper, a Fresco Crunchy Taco from Taco Bell, 140

So, 390, unless I decide to have a little treat, but I don't need it. Sodium is already at 510, and that's enough for a DD, so it will be an ice cream type treat (fudgsicle, maybe) or nothing, to hold sodium low.

Luv2Eat ! oooooooh, pie! (yay) To me, that would be the normal "skin" of the pudding, which is a delicacy among true pudding lovers, LOL!

After eating Beeb's pumkin pie, I'm thinking the addition of another .5 cup almond milk made it too much like pudding. Less would be more - I just can't help myself, find it hard to follow a recipe correctly. I think I'll reduce the cinnamon in the filling to .25 tsp next time though, that's the only change I'll make. Because the filling is so small (but very flavorful), I'm not sure it classifies as a pie - I only spread the crust half way up my small pie pan and it still stuck up. I'm thinking more like a 'pumpkin pizza' in a pie pan is what it reminds me of. Maybe this should go in the dd recipes section?

Well, as I thought today turned into a MD. I did really well most of the day, I had a can of tuna (100) and a yogurt (130), Then I got to the fair! I had a bratt that totally wasn't worth the calories-the ones at the church festival are much better. And a brownie. So I'm guessing maybe 800 calories for the day?

Weird day-- I wound up not being hungry for lunch yesterday, so basically fasted all day, w/exception of the green iced tea.

Almost didn't eat dinner, since the cleaners, here for a "deep clean" didn't leave till about 9pm!

I wound up having 9oz of naked chicken breast, 1/2c of pico de gallo, and 3 wedges of lite laughing cow cheese.
no gluc pudding.

508 cal
