UD Thursday! What's cooking?

B: bulletproof coffee
D: going out with family, so no idea. I'll try to keep to a protein and veggies. Unless they have red velvet cake or warm peach cobbler. Then all bets are off
S: Depends on D; probably chicken and cabbage or something like that

Dottie, I had a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese icing for breakfast.

(Ok....that's something I never would have thought about in all the time I've been on Atkins!....and boy did it feel good to admit! Tasted good too!)

B - the yummy red velvet cupcake, along with a cup of coffee w/HWC

L - Leftover fried rice and chicken lo mein from Tuesday. Good stuff reheated!

D - Going out....might have a cheeseburger (with bun, and what the hell...throw in some fries too!)

Gawd, I love this WOE.

They didn't have red velvet cake But they did have a really good carrot cake and a killer bread pudding! (happy to say I was satisfied with a very small portion of each along with a healthy meal of a salad, baked chicken breast, cooked carrots and purple hull peas )

Hi gang! For the new folks, just wanted to give a word of warning-- if you're coming from a Low Carb way of life, prior to JUDDD, and you're jumping into eating carbs again-- you might actually gain a bit of water weight, as the carbs are processed by your body and glycogen fills up in your liver, etc. Proceed with a bit of caution.

Having gotten *that* out of the way-- OMG i love bread pudding!!! And I do find that I can do with a normal or smaller portion, rather than going fully off the deep end like I used to when I cheated on LC
