UD Monday! What's on your plate?

B - 2 eggs, chicken sausage, toast 420c
L - lettuce, chicken, cottage cheese, almonds, light dressing 250c
S - protein granola bar 190c
D - shake/bake pork chops, broc/calf/rice casserole ?? not sure yet

BUNCO tonight, maybe I will eat a few M&M's??? HMMMM

Start Date: restart again 10/27/2014
I took a long vacation from this and yesterday was my first DD in a long
time with a wopping 300 calories. So today I plan to eat at Golden Corral.
I doubt I have any trouble eating my 2850 UD calories! Wishing us a good
day be it up or down!

Start Date: 1/10/12 Medi, 2/9/12 First UD, 1/1/13 New Plan
B: 2 cupcake sized quiche things that I made (no crust), with roasted veggies, bacon, and cheese.
L: (interchangeable with dinner) Bacon, avocado, tomato, cucumber on a flatbread, with greek yogurt and a nectarine on the side
D: Home made chili with meat, onions, garlic, beans, corn, chilis, and tomatoes. Cheese, scallion, and crushed tortilla chips on top!

Hubby and I have been joking that this is the most expensive chili ever made, since I was trying to use up some old (and a bit freezer burned) steaks. 4 were top sirloin bought on a "bogo" special and the other was a single kobe beef ribeye that I bought on manager's special, half price, for $19.96 (hey, it looked cool! Ok, I'm a sucker). Still, if we paid $30 for this one pot of chili, it is still only $5/bowl. Cooking at home pays off!

Spent the morning yesterday roasting veggies so I could make some quick/easy meals if I need too. They are great in salads, quiches, and pasta. I'm really trying to use more veggies!

Not really sure yet. I do know it is going to be much lower carb than Saturday. I had 4 big slices of veggie pizza and I'm still bloated. Bleh.

So far just a cup of Nestle's Expressions (fancy instant coffee), caramel flavor 100

Later B - small portions or fresh pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries and one breakfast sausage patty. ( breakfast served for the first day back at school for employees)

Didn't plan very well for today's rather stressful up day. Contractors are tearing up my kitchen, and somehow it never occurred to me I wouldn't be able to get into my fridge! Now, if I can figure out how to sneak out of the house past the workers and go get some fast food...any recommendations?

B. Smart Ones Breakfast Sandwich + Banana
L. ??
D. Definitely eating out.

Turkey burgers at Carl's Jr./Hardee's. Wendy's chili. You KNEW those would be my contributions!

S - orange and a small package of pretzel sticks
late lunch - scooped out bagel with ham, cheese and mustard

800 calories so far - not sure about dinner yet.

I forgot snacks.

S: 4 homemade chocolate chip cookies, think thin bar. My friend brought me scone.

I am hoping to get back to the gym today. I took last week off because of an unfortunate sleeping incident (i.e. I woke up with a bad neck). Not even a good story! Still in pain though. Lame.

I second these. Also the grilled chicken fingers at jack in the box. But, if you have a choice, why not go to paradise bakery, subway, pei wei, something like that?

Didn't bother with breakfast
For lunch I had a chicken and mango salad
Early dinner of an English muffin with cheese and salad cream.
Made calories up with snacks: dark chocolate, packet of quavers and a ham and sweet chilli soft cheese sandwich

Didnt think I would ever say this but I have struggled to get the calories in today, seem to have lost interest in food a little bit. Must be that juddd magic!!!

I have to admit to looking up salad cream and Quavers. Always love learning about foods I've never seen before. I also learned that the reason Fresh & Easy markets here in the U.S. have such a good variety of items from the U.K. is that they are actually owned by Tesco.

This, of course, is apropos of nothing, but I thought I'd share anyway.

Do you not have salad cream in the US Dawn? It's delicious, I use it with eggs and tuna instead of mayo as it is less calories. Plus the low fat versions don't really lose the taste like mayonnaise does.

Ok, here's how my menu shook out for the day:

Coffee drink-100

Handful of Maple and Brown Sugar Mini Wheats (dry)150

Ham & potato casserole-homemade, maybe 400 calories?
Left over green beans from someone's chicken dinner 30

Homemade creamy cauliflower soup-400

2 chocolate chip cookies 140

Probably a salad later-100

What do you know, I'm at least 500 calories short.

We don't, though we have Miracle Whip, which sounds like it may be similar. Miracle Whip is one of those things that you either love or hate, and I'm not terribly fond of it.
