I'm trying to eat something in the mornings now with the thread going on about adrenal fatigue/fasting. For some reason, it's hard for me to eat breakfast on a DD -- purely mental I'm sure. I get up at 5:00 a.m. (on a good day!), so I'm trying to have something to eat before 10:00 a.m., and hoping that's not too long to wait!

For a long time I simply tried fasting until dinner on DDs. I think that ended up being counterproductive as I was essentially a miserable, non-functioning human being until dinner time. Dividing up my calories has actually helped, even though it has meant a smaller dinner. Vegetable bulk may stop me from eating during a given meal because my stomach is 'full' but it does nothing to prevent ravenous hunger when my body discovers it hasn't had any protein or fat. So. New Down Day menu...
B. 1 hardboiled egg + Coffee Smoothie w/ So Delicious Original Creamer, Splenda, Ice Cubes and some glucomannan powder (90 cals)
L. Fage 0% Fat Greek Yogurt w/ liquid splenda and peach capella flavor drops (100 cal)
D. Homestyles low carb chili + HouseFoods Tofu Shirataki Noodles (290 cals)
480 cals total
If I can't get by on that, I'll add a gluc powder and oat fiber cake (45 cal) or maybe a cheese stick (60 cal) or some chicken soup thickened with glu powder.

This menu worked really well on Wed, I didn't get hungry again until almost 7pm.
