Summer has kicked my can..now I'm kicking back

I've barely had a moment to pop by here in the last couple months, missing all my judddbudds! Haven't been doing rotations much at all, trying to do fast five/eat stop eat patterns but not in a strict way.
TOO much going on, lost my mojo with different rounds of camping, house guests, a preemie birth, a death in the family this week, double work load, mom had a hip replacement and I'm primary caregiver, gardening, more camping and house guests, not enough sleep, and HOT FLASHES: but I am really trying to be strict with my eating boundaries. Just not getting in my IF. Not sure where I lost track, but it feels like forever ago. I cannot remember a busier summer. Oh, and my baby sister just announced that she is getting married next June. Guess who her wedding planner is? I have been to over a dozen remote venues in our area in three days looking for the perfect outdoor "fairy" wedding. Not fairytale. Fairy. Barefoot with wings. I have to wear a floaty dress with fairy wings without sleeves in ten months. Booking a venue less than a year in advance? They laugh in our general direction or sneer.

So after all of that, the death of hubby's father this week just made me realize that MY HEALTH is critical if I am going to not crash and burn.
My weight is up about 4 pounds from where I was maintaining, no matter what I did. Ready to get my mojo back. Went shopping last night for produce, harvested from the garden, and I am using my eight pound hand weights throughout the day at work. Have food plan. Praying for heat to abate so I can start biking to work again. My hula hoop is dusty. Ditto pilates chair. I have rafted a few times, but mostly I collapse in exhaustion and go to bed only to get up really early and go to work for another 10+ hour day followed by other people's needs in the evenings and weekends.

Could use some serious words of encouragement, a boot to the booty, and a laughter boost from all of you delightful friends!

back! What a lot of stress you've been under. I suspect cortisol may have played a role in that little gain of yours!

I suspect you are more than right Dawn.
I just updated my stats to make this a brand new start today.
Feel like I need a fresh beginning.
I'm going to do my new start measurements in the morning.

Work day almost over, have to go scrub into the nicu, eat some dinner, hopefully bath and bed.

B Lou...So nice to see your sweet face. I always have admired how healthy you talked about eating and considered you one of JUDDD's SUPERSTARS.....and you WILL PICK UP RIGHT WHERE YOU LEFT OFF!!!!!! All the new BUDDs are just as supportative too!! Sorry life has been tough for you, and I agree that the little gain will disappear very quickly.

It's good to see you back. I hope your life calms down a bit. I KNOW you can get back into JUDDDing and get things moving in the right direction again. That's the beauty of this plan. You can always start where you left off.

Thank you all for the encouragement!
I am quite shocked how quickly I lost track of myself in all of this. Memorial service next weekend in the mountains, baby should be out of nicu in a couple weeks. I'm taking a nap today just for me!
Really grateful organic whole fresh real foods are a habit, or I know I wouldn't be just a little up and I would be sick. IF was generally in the back of what was left of my mind but I just kept losing hold of it, so it needs to become a HABIT to intermittently fast.
Did measurements and they aren't up much, so hopefully my body will give it up quickly. The gain did put me right back at that horrible set point weight that I fought to get below. Gives me some qualms, especially reading all the stuff YamYam posted today about NOT GAINING and doing well maintaining loss. Those of us who have lost and gained so many times know what that feels like.

Serious first down day today, fasting as long as I feel comfortable, then I am picking some fresh zucc and tomatoes. Lean pork roast in crockpot. Mixing up some chia milk.
Took my pterostilbene, about to drink my DE and take IP-6.
I haven't been taking my supplements consistently either and I think that is a contributor to gain and lack of clarity.
Back taking the regulars: multi, c, zinc, d3, k2, probiotics, mag, pot(assium lol), milk thistle, ALA
