Oh, thank you. You are so sweet.

I hate to admit that I do not exercise although I am active.

I also hate to admit that although I stick to DD's religiously, my UD's are 1600 rarely, 2000 more often and sometimes higher than that. I know what they are because I track them and actually weigh and measure what I eat so I am fully aware how high I go. A pint of BlueBell ice cream is 640 calories. My weakness.

My DD's range from zero to 350 most days. I have started trying to increase them a bit to get ready for maintenance so I am eating a little more than 400 now but I try to do REALLY low calorie at least once a week. Monday I was traveling so I ended up with a zero calorie DD. My first since I did not even have my morning coffee with cream.

I started with 500/2000 for a month or so then dropped my DD's but didn't drop the UD's. I guess higher UD's combined with really low DD's allowed me to keep losing. If I had been strict with UD's I could have been at goal a long time ago, but I am in no hurry. I am enjoying my summer ice cream.

Adi!!!

OMG! You are svelte and classy and elegant. Wow you look simply wonderful. Thanks for giving me inspiration to carry on. I love before and after pictures so much! It also helps me to see someone can go above their UD range and still do so well, as I do that now and again.

I think the DDs are really the most important too. Dr. Johnson even mentions eating to satisfaction on your UDs and not counting calories. It seems the DD deficits are where the magic happens. I've been doing IF along with JUDDD since Monday and giving myself a 5 hour window each day. If I start eating in the morning I seem to want to eat everything in sight! Good luck to you in maintenance!!!

WOW!! Are you saying that you lost all that weight WITHOUT exercise? Unbelievable!! I'm 5'7" tall also, and I've been doing P90X and haven't lost any weight!! I know I've gained muscle, but it requires me to get up at 5am to fit it in to my schedule and I'm starting to feel like my body needs to sleep until 6am in order to be happy. Working out after work is NOT gonna happen....I'm a single Mom of two teens who literally ask me what's for dinner as before I'm completely through the door when I come home!! Plus I like to go to bed at 8-8:30pm every night!!

No formal exercise although I raise and show dairy goats and do a lot of outdoor chores every day. But that is in spurts and not for 30 minutes or longer. I did walk ONCE for 20 minutes. That was the end of my good intentions to exercise everyday.
I get up at 5am but that is to feed and milk before I go to work. Could not fit anything else into my morning and I am tired after I get home and finish chores. Plus I hate to exercise. Never was athletic.
Good luck keeping two teenagers fed. I don't think they ever get full.

I lost my 27 pounds mostly without exercise as well. Switched to paleo at first, then JUDDD as I was close to goal. I am now doing some Callanetics to tone. Exercising simply made me hungry and then I ate too much. LOL And I just really hate it.

Adi, I think the expression on your face is almost one of surprise!
Like, "Whoa! I knew I looked good but I didn't know I looked THIS good!"

Btw, ladies, I've read in several places that prolonged cardio signals your body to STORE FAT.

But just think of those bodybuilders who get down to -5% body fat (haha, just kidding); they DON'T spend hours on the treadmill!

Do an images search/Google of "sprinter vs marathoner body" to see what I'm talking about.

Anyway, if you're going to exercise,
it seems like sprinting/HIIT/weightlifting is the way to go!
(And/or gentle exercise like Callanetics/Pilates/yoga,
that doesn't stress your adrenals.)

I know I have posted photos of my weight loss before, but I have two photos almost one year apart with me showing the same goat and I even have on the same top to see a real comparison. My new pants in the second picture are already too big and they are smalls.
Photo one is September 2011 at the State Fair of Texas and the second one is September 2012 at the Brazos Valley Fair. Same goat but she is all grown up.

I can get my shoulders back now that there is no fat between my shoulder blades. Plus ttapp helps a lot with posture and I have been doing a little off and on lately.

And thanks for the compliment.

Granted, here in NY I don't see goats very often, but I didn't know how cute they could be.

I'm considering posting a before and during too. We'll see.
