Good Morning All

I don't know yet....just had coffee and creamer so far.

L- maybe an everything bagel thin sandwich with ham, fresh homegrown tomato and onion...should be about 200 calories.
D- still have leftover veggie and pork soup
S- maybe a 25 calorie popsicle

100 degrees here today...so lots of flavored water.

Pat,

That wore me out just reading everything!

I have to admit that I am not so creative nor could I spend this amount of energy trying to come up with this!

If I were to divide my food into portions, I think it would have to do 5 portions instead of 12.

Ummm, it looks like 16 portions.

Your pumpkin shake is something that I have been meaning to create. I am a pumpkin addict...

Actually, I consider the calories in the mugs of lightened coffee as a mini-meal of calories too, and it actually totals 16 mini-meals. It doesn't take as long as you would suppose, since when I'm measuring out the foods for one meal, I'm making several of them and putting in the freezer. Easy to pull out and warm up again quickly. So it doesn't take any longer than any other way for me.

The trouble is, it controls my DD appetite so much that I can't eat that much. I'm going to start spacing the feedings further apart, requiring fewer meals to span morning 'til night, and skipping some of the little meals, and thus reducing the DD calories even further.

Very interesting! When I used to try to Fat Fast, I would divide my whole day into 200 calorie portions and have 5 200 cal portions. It was sort of fun, but for the life of me, I never felt sated! I would feel satiation if I ate two 500 calorie meals of fat, but not 5 200 calorie meals. Don't know for certain what was going on?

I don't know either. I was actually pretty surprised to find how really *too full* I begin to feel as the afternoon lengthens. This little experiment has surprised me. I thought of doing this like they recommend for pain control.. that is to take the medication before the pain grows too intense.. keep ahead of it.. so I thought to do that with Down Day eating too. Boy, it works better than I ever could have dreamed it would. It's not just that I'm not hungry. I barely get any appetite at all before it's time for the next little mini-meal.
