Shiritake noodles question

Hey JUDDD BUDDDs, I have a question about shiritake noodles. I've read a lot about how people really like the shiritake rice, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I'm wondering if it would be possible make my own from the noodles. Is it basically the same thing, just cut differently? I have one package of the noodles left and feel like trying something different today, on my DD.

They are the same basically, just the shape is different, but I don't think the noodles would be able to be cut into the shape of the rice, but if you just want tiny pieces it would work.

I would just snip or chop them into small pieces.
They don't seem as "rubber-bandy" this way.

Yep, that about describes them. I picked some of these up for my DD dinner tonight (was going to make Hungry Girl's Girlfredo) and I just could not get past the texture. They made squeaky noises when I chewed them!!!

On the upside they had Joseph's pitas at my Publix and they are delicious!

I like the shirataki black noodles which are the size of udon or ramen. I loathe the rice - somehow its texture makes me gag. They are more like big tapioca pearls. And I love tapioca. So that makes it weird. Still had to throw out the rice it was so horrid for me.
