DD Monday! What's cooking?

Good Monday morning all!

Today I am fasting until dinner, the plan is if I make it till dinner and don't feel an urgency to eat, I am going to try the all day fast!

Lots of Green Tea, Water, & Lemon water.

Just wondering..

If you've been JUDDDing for a while, does it get easier to fast until dinner on down days? I got a little off track this weekend, off my usual schedule. But sometimes I don't know how to divide 475 calories up. I feel like, what's the point in dividing since it is so little. Any advice...I'll post this in the main area also. Thanks!

Does it get easier? For me... yes and no. Ive only been doing this for 4 weeks now though, but still...let me explain:

For me, DDs are each their own animal. Sometimes I feel like I could just happily live on coffee and just dinner. Other DDs I would eat my best friends hand off if it looked like food. LOL! Personally I think TOM really factors into this.

What I find makes it easier OVERALL is finding the foods I love and enjoy on a DD and making them work with the numbers, and really planning ahead. Today is an example of a DD I can look forward to:

Coffee w ff half and half (x2)
Dannon Light and Fit Greek Yogurt
5 Saltines w Laughing Cow light Swiss
Chicken Bouillion
35 Calorie Bread
I cant believe its not butter spray
.25 cup of Eggbeaters
Trader Joes Baked Chicken tenderloin
Cup of Cucumbers
Light Ranch Dressing
Sugar Free Jello
Fat Free Whipped Cream

and LOTS OF water (bubbly and flat) w Mio, or diet soda. I find the bubbles really fill me up.

I agree with Genevieve! If you work your way slowly to fasting whole day, you may find that you begin to love DD a bit more. I started out with 500-700 calorie DD and worked my way down. Some days you find it is 3:00 pm and you have literally not felt any hunger. These are the days that I run with it! Yes, it can be painful around 6:00 pm, but I always say, "hey, I made it this long, why not keep going???"

If you are doing 475, I would divide it up into 2 meals. It doesn't matter if you allow yourself Lunch/Dinner or Breakfast/Dinner. But I find that 2 meals makes me less cranky. So, I would have 1 egg w/ turkey bacon for breakfast. 125 cal
and then spend 350 calories for a nice dinner.

I find it easier (for me) to have my 2 cups of coffee in the morning then wait until dinner to eat the rest of my allowed cals. I hit a point in the afternoon between 11am-1pm where I feel the most hunger but once I get past that I find that I am not that hungry anymore once dinner actually comes along. I have noticed that the more I indulged/binge on my UD on "bad" carbs the worse my UD is the following day.

Hi gang!
I'm back from my work trip to Manila and Sydney First DD back! I was actually looking forward to it!

B: my sleep schedule is still weird, so I got up around 11am (it's a holiday here in Ontario today)
L: just had 1 egg and some green iced tea
S: might have another egg later
D: chicken or pork and salad
S2: maybe some almond milk

I've not really stuck to rotations while I was gone, so I'm not going to be too harsh on myself if I need some extra calories here or there... but so far so good today.

Kissa, Coffee is perfect, I have to limit coffee, so I drink one first thing and then it is water/tea combo. ummm, 1:00 pm here and I am still alive and no pain!

I'm back on juddd from hcg. Starting P4 today and made it a DD. Had kind of bad day yesterday and Tom is around the corner, so the scale is slowly going up... So my plan for the week is to eat very clean, hcg correction day like.

L: -
D: 3 scoops sun warrior chocolate protein shake with 3TBS Oil 550cals

Felt hungry around 12 till 2pm, filled myself up with tea, worked like a charm. Got a head ache around 5pm and felt light headed, that's why I usually don't fast the whole day.

Feels good to be back on JUDDD!

Back to rotations, and today is my 1st DD in almost 2 weeks. My plan is to have nothing but water and sugar-free powerade. If I HAVE to eat something, it will be veggies!

I was doing fine but remembered that we were off to watch a Shakespeare play this evening. I decided a rumbling stomach would not be appreciated by the rest of the audience so I ate before we left home at 6. It was a great production.

D vegetable lasagne 279 cals, one bite of DH's chicken curry (it smelt so good!)
S soya flat white
