Good morning, Monica! How is your son liking all the "back to school" commercials? I have a sour household when those come on!

For anyone who was appalled (I was) at my carb-heavy 1,800 calories yesterday, with ice cream cone, spaghetti and a fast food meal, I'm happy to report my bounce today was ordinary. Yay, JUDDD. (I am still ashamed of that full-sugar 8-oz soda, though.)

Today

1.5-egg omelet in coconut oil, w veggies.....200
Homemade "Subway" tuna salad................270

470

I'm supposed to go to my boyfriend's parents for dinner tonight. This means I will be eating very little until the evening. I'm going to have some miso soup, lots of sparkling water, a plum and a coffee.

It looks like dinner will be salmon. So I'll stick to a small portion since I know it's a higher calorie fish. His parents have a beautiful vegetable garden, so I'm hoping for some fresh greens. I may go a bit over today, but I'm okay with that.

That's kind of the UD I had! And it was delicious!
Today will probably be a medium day, we're going to a church festival this evening which will involve at least 1 of each of the following:
Bratt
Grilled corn
Draft beer

Wow, I'm Really Testing JUDDD

I'm still jet lagged from LA and now an urgent family matter will have me driving to Ohio this weekend at the last minute. I'm going to try to do a DD in the car. That should be feasible, right, right?

B. None
L. Pumpkin Flax Milk Shake (75 cal)
D. Some lower cal Fast Food Thing. Maybe a McDonald's Fillet-o-Fish (380 cal)

When I've done road trips, I just skipped breakfast, had Subway salads for lunch and Wendy's chili for dinner. Under 400 calorie DDs with no fuss or muss or packing of food or supplies. Easy breazy.

Argument with myself:
Me: Baby potatoes! what can we put on them?
Me2: Nothing... don't want to waste the calories
Me: Ummmm... isn't that anorexic talk?
Me2: No, for 2 reasons. One, even if we WERE anorexic it would be 6 months before it was even the start of a problem. Two, the bacon and eggs, ribs, and potato salad are already planned for TOMORROW!

Gotta love JUDDD!

I think she meant me too. I should first say that the shake is not awesome. It's good for a down day. I wouldn't have it otherwise.

1/2 cup unsweetened pumpkin
1 cup flax milk
1/2 tsp gluc powder
Cinnamon to taste
Pumpkin pie spice to taste
Monin vanilla syrup to taste

Thank you, Stephdray! I have tried basically that with almond milk, and it's just okay. What is flax milk?!
