Well, after one more DD I am inside my 2-pound window after HCG-I'm at last-dose-weight +1, which is fine by me. I will continue to do the maintenance calorie rotations 800-900/1600-1800 (I try to keep 1000 calories spread between the two) and see if it goes down a bit more, as I was maintaining prior to vacay at just under last dose weight, so at this moment I am still about 1-2 pounds up from where I'd like to sit comfortably for maintenance. I can gradually lower my DD calories if need be, sometimes I do 600 and am fine, it just depends on what I eat, and I am learning that. Stressful days/mental challenging days with work/school commitments definitely require more protein. But overall, I LOVE JUDDD!

Thanks Luna, I hope one day to do Luna's No-Counting Maintenance Method or LNCMM! For now I really have to keep track to keep learning what food has what cals so I have that as an approximate future reference for in-my-head tracking.

Thanks for your idea Tina about adding a little, then waiting a little. I think where the glitch always comes for me is I try to save my DD cals until later in the day in case I need them, then end up pretty low energy for working out, etc in the morning/early afternoon. So even though I come in at 550 many days, still not feeling my best. I think I will eat a bit heartier in the morning before intense activities, maybe 700-800 will be plenty at that point by the end of the day. Yeah, I wouldn't be opposed to losing more, but for now I just want to relax a bit and not have the-scale-isn't-going-down-AGAIN syndrome. And letting my skin adjust to this weight for a bit--maybe it will tighten up again?? At least a little bit?? **fingers crossed**

In May I bought Gloria Vanderbilt white capris pants - they did not fit, too tight, I could not zip them all the way up even!

On June 1 they fit nicely.

Then the rest of June I thought I could just "wing it" and did not need to track calories any more! Big mistake because on July 1 the scale showed I had gained 3 #'s

. On August 1 the scale did go down 2 of those pounds.

So starting in August I kept track of calories once again. I did notice on Friday my tummy looked flatter, DH thought so too!

On Sunday we went to relatives and I was going to put on white shorts, but was wondering about the white capris, I got them out and they fit ever so nicely, even a bit too big in the waist in the back! I could not of been more pleased and happy!

This JUDD thing really does work.

Yes, I do know what you mean, it does.

But we can't take our eyes off the ball for too long. I have had too much "real" life over the past few months and, although I didn't worry about it, there is no dout that I am not as slender as I was. I now have one pair of jeans that are NOT a good fit.

I have had a much better week and the scales show 125, but I prefer to see that as a top number.

Also, because of my arthritic knee I haven't exercised, I really miss the toning and my body does too.

So I have started Callanetics. Hope that puts everything back into place again.

The journey continues.

Hey all. How's maintenance? Boring here, which I suppose is a good thing.

Rotations are going well, weight is stable. Life is good.

Trying to figure out what goodie to bake to get my cals up for dinner.

I haven't been JUDDDing for the past week. Have ebb dealing with my late FIL's apartment along with all the family. Long days and snatched food, then evenings of chat, wine and food. I have been working very hard physically, up and dow stairs and hauling heavy things around.

So today was my first DD, will face the scales tomorrow. I am quite hopeful though as I feel the same in my clothes.

Well I am back from vacation, was only up 3 pounds and after only one DD, I am back to my original new low...142. I can't even tell you how ecstatic I am! I was almost afraid of going on vacation if you can imagine because of my prior history of crazy overindulgence. I still am not totally trusting myself on the control issue, but I am hoping I have "conquered" the next level in the weight loss game we are in.

Barb, that is fantastic! The first time for me, there was much trepidation about going, and disbelief that the gain went away so quickly. The second time, I started to believe it, and by the third, I just went, had a great time and came back confident that I'd be back on track within a week at most.

Kissa, you know that no matter what the scale says, you'll be fine once you can get back to rotations.

Thanks everyone!! It's great to be back and I missed you all. What a great support you all are. No wonder so many girls do so well with this WOE with all this !!

Barb, I posted my thoughts and ideas on the Strategies for Maintaining While on Vacation thread that I started about a month or so ago...

Strategies for Maintaining While On Vacation

Let me know what else to add to those ideas, you should know more since you get to go away for 3 weeks at a time. One day....

Thanks Barb! I missed this other thread. I love to read strategies and ideas to help stay on track to get through challenging situations. Vacations defenetly qualify as a challenge for me. I was amazed at how well pre-planning worked to get me through. It sounds like it worked great for you too.

I've been being a badd JUDDD Buddd.

I'm around, haven't been reading on the board at all. I HAVE been doing rotations, like clockwork and have been maintaining really well. I'm living sort of between 166 and 163, which is just fine. I can see that some time in the future I think I might want to take off a few more pounds, but right now things are just far far too crazy for that.

We are packing up our house, in six days (counting today) the movers show up and will move all of our stuff into a storage unit. So we have to have everything packed up by next Tuesday night. We are taking clothing, personal items, computers and camping equipment with us. Oh, and our bikes. Everything else goes into storage, either the storage unit or my parent's basement (for stuff that can't take heat or cold, like paints and candles).

So I'm living with a plethora of cardboard boxes as far as the eye can see. We're preparing for the trip with great anticipation and quite a few freak-out moments. I'm updating the blog, so if you want to hear more about what's going on on the personal front, you can go there. I'd love to hear from you if you do, leave me a comment or send me a message and let me know you're reading. It gives me a lift.

I am glad to see that you all are doing well. I've probably missed tons of milestones, I'm sorry about that. But I just thought I'd pop in and say hi. I love you all even though I don't show it by being around much. But I do think of you all and wish you the greatest of successes.

Luna,
Ahhhhh, I miss your posts here but am so happy for you.

My lovely man is starting the 5/2 thing tomorrow after watching the Horizons video. He doesn't need to lose an ounce but he'd love to leave HBP meds.

Here's the funny thing. He will not call his low calorie days DDs. Says that's too negative. (He might to feel this way if he's spent his life wanting his weight to go DOWN, like I have.) He wants to call them UDs.
I keep saying, oh, honey, you can't do that to me. I've been JUDDDing for five months and you will mess me up if you change all the names. .

So. We're going to have UDs (high calorie) and Light Days (LDs, low calorie). Unless I lose my mind. Which could happen. Then I'll just cover my ears, do my own thing, and hope for the best for him.
Men.
