I'm taking ds to Red Lobster for lunch for all the work he's been doing for me. I'm going for the 4-course meal which includes a bowl of clam chowder, salad with blue cheese dressing, coconut shrimp, grilled pineapple shrimp, a spicy/sweet pineapple salsa, rice pilaf, 1 cheddar biscuit, and apple crostada......all for 1750 calories so I have a few calories to play with if I need something later in the day.

When I went last month with dh for my birthday I had the same meal only I didn't plan ahead and had the baked potato (with butter & sour cream) and a brownie with ice cream and those two choices put me quite a bit over. I'll be just as happy with today's choices.

I will confess that I had the homemade cupcake my coworker brought in yesterday for breakfast that I saved for myself

other than that:

iced coffee
greek yogurt w fiber
nature valley protein bar (these are really surprisingly good nutrition wise!)
reduced guilt mac & cheese
tjs soy corn dog
100 calorie cookie pack
some sort of chicken/peppers/tomato sauce meal for dinner over rice
pita crackers and laughing cow cheese

all this and i still need like 614 calories. good lord.

This isn't anything that you need to confess at all, as it is allowed on JUDDD if you want it. Period. All you have to do is estimate the calories in it and add them into your tally of calories for the day. And remain at about your UD calorie number.

My baby sister left yesterday afternoon, and I'm left with a refrigerator full of a million odds and ends. Meals today will be made up of *a little of a lot of things*, and I'll weigh and measure and count my calories and post later. This UD needs to come in at about 1600 calories.

Wishing all of you who are enjoying a JUDDD Up Day today *Good Eating* and remember our food choices for today need to nourish our physical bodies but also our minds and spirits. Enjoy, my JUDDD BUDDDs! Have a good one....!

I was there last week and got the tilapia, salad, brocolli, brownie/ice cream, and they have a new tortilla soup which was very good! The tortilla soup was also half the calories of the clam chowder.

ME. I am always wrapping up something for tomorrow at work. We tend to have a lot of goodies brought in during the year so I can participate, not just everyday.

Later menu is not set because company is coming and may have their own ideas, but sometime today

adillenal,

THANK YOU FOR THAT TIP!

seriously... i was literally DEPRESSED at having to give up on the amazing donuts that we get brought to us one Friday every month. knowing i can have that donut the next day is all i need to be successful. such a "duh?" thing... but i wouldn't even have considered it??? i think realizing how much instant gratification mentality ive always had, and how to discipline myself to delay it is one of the biggest reward of JUDDD so far for me.

Just finished taking a nice break at the kitchen table, looking out at the hot drought-browned lawn and little birds taking advantage of the freshly filled birdbath. Poor things.

For an afternoon break I had two thin slices of a raisin-pecan bread spread with 2/3s tbsp of butter, and a mug of coffee with a fluid ounce of half & half. Calories came to 214.

This Up Day now stands at 881 calories. Boy.. that was sure good raisin-pecan bread!

Had green beans with dinner, then went to Cold Stone. I got a Sinless Sans Fat Sweet Cream (Like It size) with black cherries. I ate a third of it and tossed it. It was too sweet.

I'm having my wine now and still have 130 calories to "spend." I may stop here, or may have some toast with butter and marmite.
