Hehe, I just did the math and if I go by that chart, I'll be "normal" in 14 pounds. Maybe I should change my goal.

Thank you for this thread & well done on losing 3 BMI points!

I was inspired a while ago by Dawn's signature to check my progress by BMI. I was disappointed at the time because I was still well into morbid obese area! This time though I have dropped from 48.5 in Jan to 40.8, and I am within 6 pounds of moving below 40! Really thrilled.

Dawn: You have my permission to change your goal! When you arrive at yours and I arrive at mine, we can re-assess and decide where to go from there, right? I like what Kimberly said about changing her goal downward just to see if she can continue to go lower. Because with JUDD it's possible!

Thanks YamYam! I would be thrilled to be at 150 or below. I think my Dukan estimate of 162 is more than I'd ideally like to be, but it would be much better than where I am now, so if I think of it that way I'd feel good about getting there too. All steps in a healthier direction, right?

Congratulations, Dee! I'm still at 45, but I will be excited to celebrate your below 40 with you soon and then follow in your footsteps in a few months. I noticed that we want to lose about the same amount ... we can do it!

Thank you so much for the encouragement Dawn, Yam Yam & Christina! I am really grateful for the boards (although I am a bit shy!). I will definitely post when I break through 40 - maybe that will be my goal on the August weigh in!
