Wow,suprised but pleased

I got a call on the 9th that my Dd was having her baby and to get my butt to Minnesota.17 hr train ride w/ 5 hr layover, hospital and restaurant food, babysitting and enjoying my 2 yr old granddaughter, celebrating new grandson= 2 weeks of UDs
The moment of truth arrived when I jumped on the scale today and I'm only up 2 lbs, and I figure its water weight too because I ate anything and everything I wanted.Pizza,Frozen Yogurt,Swedish Fish(my weakness),pasta, fries, regular soda, frenchtoast, ect the WHOLE time.
Now to get back on plan and see an all time low.

Now that is the kind of post I like to read! :jump joy:

It is clear that you had triggered the Sirtuin in your body and were also, pretty active I guess with a 2 year old to care for!

I am delighted for you, I have gained 4 lbs in 5 days!

Congratulations, Grandma!!! Sounds like you had a marvelous 2 weeks. Baby And, it looks like the sirtuins did the job in whisking away lots of extra calories so you didn't have a big gain. 2 pounds in 2 weeks is basically maintaining in my book. The new low is coming! Yippeeee

Congrats Grandma!!!! And isn't JUDDD lovely to allow us a detour like that, enjoying all sorts of wonderful foods, with nary a speed bump in the way after? I imagine after 1 dd, you'll be back to where you were before you left.

I'm about to put the sirtuins to the test too. A few days with my mom, and then a vacation later in August. We'll see if I have the same luck you did.
