Jumped OFF the wagon~:)
Well i have just returned from a 4 day vac to Oswego Newyork.. My hubbys 30 year class reunion... and heres what happend.
I strarted to do my down day on a 11 hour drive.. very hard to to do when DH dont want to stop much for me to pee ![]() I quickly changed my idea as to what i was goin to do on this trip when it came to JUDDD and so i tested the idea that JUDDD is forgiving! ![]() Durring my trip, i did not consume my normal water or COFFEE intake.. i ate when i was hungry.. didnt care if it was an up day or a down day .. i was on vacation from everything! ![]() The bad new is.. i did not have a BM for 4 days.(sorry if to much info ) but the good news was.. i came home .5 pounds lighter~![]() ![]() I feel yucky... due to i ate things i never had in 7months like garlice bread and a single brownie.. but the scale was kind to me.. i wanted to do a normal DD today but i felt that perhaps i should have an UD and do my best to eat all of the caloires my plan calls for to start my rotations again,, due to,, when eating when i was hungry really didnt amount to much.. i love not being hungry and that is thanks to JUDDD and the magic was to come home and jump on my scale whom i MISSED! Cant belive i missed my scale~ ![]() This has been an amazing journey and i am proud to have all my JUDDD BUDDDS with me to share my story with. Thank you all for the support and love you have shown me I love you all.. and keep the faith.. JUDDD works~![]()

Wonderful! I had the exact same experience in march when I went to visit my mom for a week. Didn't count, didn't try to follow rotations, just ate when I was hungry and till I was full. Did have a few treats, but not overboard, and came home 1 pound lighter. Got right back into rotations and lost 4 pounds in the next 2 weeks. It was my best weight loss on JUDDD.
I'm hoping for a repeat when I go to visit her at the end of the week for 4 days. |

I must admit girls.. i was kind of expecting at least a 5 or 6 pound gain due to i dint follow any of the rules,, and i got my mind ready for that when i hopped on that scale with confidence and said,,, i "can" handle what ever it says~ Boy.. Whew was i pleased,, and WTG you TIna,, perhaps its what some bodys need is less stress over worrying about the scale and food for a few days for the body to say,, HEY SHES FEEDING US AGAIN~~ woohoot lol :0

This is the kind of JUDDD story that I love reading, and we see it over and over again. We relax but don't go overboard on vacation and come home with little (or no) weight gain... and if we've gained some, it's almost always water weight that flushes back out of us with a good DD or two!
Sounds like you had fun! And life's too short not to! |

Kimberly: This is awesome to read!
To me, it proves that the sirtuin enzymes were surging through your system still. They were providing appetite control so you did not over eat. And, they were continuing their fat burning work! I'll bet you looked so hot at that reunion and your DH is proud to have you by his side and to show you off! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Kimberly, the JUDDD portion of your weight loss journey has been both inspirational and adventurous. This is a great chapter!
I think, if we are open to learning from the rotation, JUDDD wants to teach us many, many things about hunger and how each of our bodies work. YOU, my dear, get a gold star and go to the head of the class! |

I was gone for 5 days last week. I did much as you did. Originally I thought, long car ride, NO PROBLEM, but like you I couldn't load up on water so I was HUNGRY. I just enjoyed my 5 days...unlike you, I went to the bathroom DAILY while gone.
On normal JUDDD rotations I go every 2 or 3 days, that's it! I didn't have the guts to weigh this a.m. as I was afraid, but since you posted, I will weigh on Friday after another solid DD! |

How wonderful! Gives me hope for our vacation later this year. Two weeks in Florida. If I come home with only a few pounds gained I will be ecstatic. I keep thinking I will continue some sort of rotation (light dinner only on DDs, lunch and dinner on UDs) but I know that plan might go out the window.

I started JUDDD March 1 of this year, and it was the best gift i could have ever givin my self~ I had my doubts as many newbies do, i went thru the whole.. its not goin to work for me.. blahblah.. i even had a few days of no loss after a DD thinking it was like the law or somthing.. and also i spent almost one whole month following to a tee, with only a 2 pound loss and kept going.. the thing that i have found with JUDDD is there is "No ryhme or reason" .. The scale will for me.. always jump up by at least 2 pounds after an UD and down by what ever my body decides after an DD.. I love to jump on my scale now several times a day just to see what my body is doing with things i put in it,, i have learned so much about what MY body needs and what my body dont like.. things that i never would have ever noticed had not decided to committ to just doing the program~ Welcome to the best way of eating for life~ ![]() |

Thanks for writing this ... such an encouraging post!
I just got back from a four-day vacation in my first two weeks of JUDDD. Since I'm just starting and want to make sure I'm activating those skinny gene things, I tried my best to keep to rotations, although it was tricky when eating in restaurants with no calorie counts However, it was tricky, and I would LOVE in the future to be able to take short term breaks in the rotation for special occasions and do just what you did ... eating when hungry, stopping when satisfied ... and be able to maintain or even lose! So glad you had such a great experience! I'd love to see an update on how it goes when you've been back on rotation for a few days. I bet it's going to be good! |

Kimberly, I find this thread intriguing. I went away for 5 days last week and maintained my weight which I was excited about. Ecstatic really! Here's why: Every single summer for the past 10-12 years I have gained and actually not been able to wear some of my clothes by the end of just a ONE week vacation!!!! So as you can see I just felt I could not trust myself with going away for just a few days. I really think in the past though I went crazy because I would go without so many things for the rest of the year, I felt it was time to celebrate--and obviously celebrate in a BIG way! I would feel so bad physically and beat myself up mentally and emotionally though after vacation, it was really a downer. I just knew I had to do something different this year. Then I found JUDDD and I fell in
!!! It is the easiest WOE I have every been able to actually live with day in and day out. I am hoping one day to just eat if I am hungry when on vacation like you were able to--still not sure if I feel I can trust myself fully in that regard. So last week when we went out of town, I thought I would try a kind of transitioning to that advanced level of vacation eating. What I did differently was I ate lighter every other day in general, not counting any calories, just roughly estimating. But I still had wine every night with friends. And dessert. But every other day I had a little less alcohol and smaller serving(s) of dessert. I journaled it all in a thread called Strategies for Maintaining While on Vacation. I realized I could still enjoy myself and indulge in yummy things. But the best thing I got out of this experiment was that I felt really good physically and felt good about myself and I still felt good in my clothes at the end of our visit. And good energy, another bonus. I guess all this time--all these years--I was looking for a WOE that would allow me to indulge and have "food fun" on vacation and still let me feel good when I got home. Did I mention that I JUDDD????ps: You look simply stunning in your new picture! So glowing and slim.
