I think it's official...

I'm backwards! So, here it goes... For the last 4 weeks on DDs I have learned that my 7pm weight is usually 2lbs less than my 7am weight. This is not so weird since I've frequently fasted for the 12 hours, but I had been feeling "lighter" at 7pm after UDs recently. So, this is what I weighed at 7am: 164.8.
Today I ate 2 small pancakes for breakfast, a yogurt and some pretzels for lunch and for dinner 6 buffalo wild wings, 1/2 an order of spinach artichoke dip and several onion rings. at 8pm I weighed 164.3! How is that possible? The sleep walking/ eating is actually way better. At most I have 1 yogurt during the night and my new night time adventure includes consuming about 2 liters of water with every flavor Mio drops (I guess since every flavor is out on the kitchen counter in the morning). Am I just seriously bloated from all the water and Mio drops that it doesn't matter what I eat during the day? Do Mio drops cause bloating? Or am I just backwards?

Very interesting. I sometimes weigh less in the evening of a really low day, but after an UD, that is a mystery.

I drink Mio sometimes and I have never had bloating from it, unless maybe you are drinking it close to the morning and it hasn't "worked itself out" yet.

I am awake by 4am, as in, if I get up to pee or drink or roll over (which involves getting out of bed and turning due to spinal fusion)and it's after 4am I will remember it when I get up at 6:30am, so no crazy water/ Mio consumption after 4am that I know of.

When I'm actually losing weight (and not stalling or re-gaining ) I often weigh less in the afternoon on both UDs & DDs. Usually after eating one meal but before dinner.

2 liters of water weigh almost 4.5lbs!!!
I imagine it could take a while for that to "work itself out", as Gina said, and likely that the food you eat during the day doesn't weigh that much, so you end up lighter in the evening.

I have noticed this, too. It's a little crazy, but I've stopped paying attention to the weight in the morning. I make a mental note of it and then weigh later and see which one is lower before I record it. Makes for some obsessive weighing, but if my weight at the end of the day is lower, I'm still claiming it!

I think, for me, I've stopped getting up during the night to pee, and then I spend all day running to the bathroom. Obviously my body has decided I need sleep more than anything so I'm just going to be backwards for a while.

Well, I'm glad it's not just me and I guess some of that water is just "working itself out during the day."

Drinking a lot at night, when your body is in another mode, could certainly have some interesting effects. As long as you feel 'right' and are losing, let's assume it is all good.

But, you said the sleep walking/eating is better???

I do that. It's because I usually gain water weight on UDs and lose it by the end of the DD. Usuallly....

Yes, but I'm causiously optimistic. This August would be 15 years and it started out of nowhere! At that time in my life I was under a great deal of emotional and probably physical stress/ distress, but it started one night out of nowhere and prior to that I had only slept walked once or twice as a child. I was 21 and blissfully weighed 92lbs. 15 mos later weighed 230!!!!! I went from a size 0 to a 24/26 and earned myself diabetes. The sadest part was I slept through all of it! At least if I had eaten at 5 star restaurants or eaten around the world I could say it was worth it, but yes... it is getting better. My fridge and pantries have the bare minimum, but there are usually at least 4 yogurts at my disposal and it seems that I havent exceeded 1 in a few weeks.
