It was supposed to be a dd today, at least for the first half of the day, but Tom's approach had other plans. It's something the way it affects appetite and cravings.. You might be shocked at what I ate yesterday - nearly 3000 calories that included sugary processed junk. Pre-Tom, anything can happen.

I think things are settling down a bit, but we'll see. Today:

12 p.m.
-1 egg scrambled in bacon grease with onion & mushroom
-2 slices bacon
-1 large, fluffy pancake with IHOP SF syrup
-tea

Kissa 07-15-2012 10:19 AM

:hugs::hugs::hugs: TOM isn't known as the curse for nothing.

Kissa 07-15-2012 10:26 AM

Sorry, double post

DD for me and tho' I don't usually post on this thread (I'm one of the old 'uns and usually post there) but I just had to include this here...

Invention is not the mother of creation...leftovers are! And I created a wonderful DD dish I had to share. I had some leftover mushrooms that I had to use today, so did a spinach pie...well, omelet. Sauteed 'shrooms, a slice of bacon, half a box of spinach, and enough egg beaters to make wet. Had half for breakfast and will have the other half later. I figure about 170 calories and that's half my day's calories but it's really huge

I guess it's a 'shroom day as I have a lovely Portabella for later...and actually picked up some broccoli slaw..any suggestions for the slaw?

Just had to share with you...

DD

B: Coffee & hazelnut creamer, x2
L: Progresso Light Santa Fe Chicken Soup, 15oz can
D: 'Taco Salad' (romaine, ex lean gr turkey breast, gr pepper, onion, seasonings, salsa)

Tons of water!

368 Calories

Kissa 07-15-2012 01:24 PM

It was a mushroom supper for me too. Portabella chopped into my salad.

I also put a packet of mushroom Cup of Soup (one of those 60 cal light ones) into the blender with a whole Portabella and some joining water and blitzed it. I was really delicious...

We have lots of different Chorizo even, lol.

A Bacon Bap is just a white bread bun with bacon in it. This wasn't even a real Bap, just a hamburger bun. we were at an Athletics Meet, not a lot of choice.

A real scottish Bap, notice it it 'floury' on top. http://images.search.yahoo.com/image...mb=iapeEapuRzC

Thanks for the link! White bread bun & bacon! They're sold at athletic events like hamburgers are in the U.S?

Kissa 07-15-2012 02:05 PM

Yes and at least I know vaguely what is in the bacon, unlike some of the burgers they sell at those places.

Good point...I'd think it would be a much healthier choice than burgers, no doubt! Tomorrow's an UD for me...will probably have some bacon. :yummy: The power of suggestion! :)

My DH makes a lovely chorizo, carrot and lentil soup
