It's Wednesday - What are you eating?

I think it may be a tough one, i've been up since 4.30am and have to work all day - guess i may have to go to bed early tonight to escape my growling, hungry tummy... We'll see how it goes.

B: none
L: Chicken breast, lettuce, cucumber followed by 0% fat greek yoghurt & a tsp Splenda
D: Mushroom omelette with steamed veg (cabbage and cauliflower)

Totals = 527 cals, 22g carbs

It's an UD and I don't have a plan! And I need to make it a good (meaning enough calories) UD.

*If* dh and I go to town we'll eat lunch out and probably stop at DQ for my free birthday blizzard (I know.....not healthy). We were supposed to do that on Sunday and it didn't happen and he wants to go more than me. LOL If that happens that will be it for me today.

Otherwise, I think I'll repeat yesterday's yummy dinner as an early lunch and then have salmon & cucumber on toast for dinner with some watermelon. That sounds good.

UD, but I haven't a clue what I'm doing (which is rare for me)-- busy with work, so just winging it:

b: higher fiber multigrain O cereal, almond milk (about 260 cal total)
L: about 12.5 oz pork ribs (meat, minus the bones/refuse)
also, 0% fat greek yogurt with some splenda and walden farms blueberry jelly stuff
4 of these great crackers that sort of taste like granola-- have fruit, nuts, seeds in them. Not sure if they have them in the US? raincoast crisps. (it's not a link, so that's ok, right? I swear the TOS of the site have me totally freaked out... )

D: not sure, but I have a plan for chicken thighs in hot sauce, and some almond-milk ice cream for dinner, and I still have about 500 cal to go...

Ooooo Chocolate, where are you???

Had another glass of wine.

6:45 p.m.
-a smaller salad like above
-1/2 can sardines in mustard
-about 2 c. watermelon

I'm done for the day. I could call this a "DD" since my cals (that I do count) were under 900... otherwise it was 1200 calories if everything was counted. But the way I do it as a "dd/FD" it doesn't matter because both sides of the day worked out fine. Anyway, I suppose I'll do it all again tomorrow.

Wow, guess I wasn't done after all! I sipped tea for hours after dinner but around 9:30 I couldn't shake the feeling anymore that my stomach was hurting and getting nauseous because it was so empty! I think the tea aggravated it, but I knew the only thing that would help was some food.

I ended up having...
-1/2 turkey sandwich
-about 20 lower-fat, unsalted potato chips (surprisingly good)
-about 1.5 c. broccoli florets (raw) dipped in zero fat hummus

Thanks it went OK, i was a bit sleepy in the shop during the afternoon and was probably about ready for bed by 8pm but then i telephoned my lovely daughter and chatted with her for an hour and a half which livened me up!

I didn't really feel hungry for most of the day - this still feels somewhat strange to me but i love it!

Cindy, good luck, hope everything goes well for you in Cardiff.
