Goal for July is a loss of 7 pounds to 235.

Not doing great so far this month but being patient! As I have said before I am following a loose LC JUDDD plan so far - eventually I will probably have to tighten up the calorie counts!

Starting weight 242,
07/02 - 244.2 DD
07/03 - 242.5 UD
07/04 - 244.0 DD
07/05 - 243.0 UD - eating too much this month!
07/06 - 242.5 DD - loss after UD!
07/09 - 242.0 UD
07/10 - 241.8 - DD finally lower that start of month! Surprised after UD!

7/11 - 154 - DD Up 1 but no complaints...

I've a feeling today will be hard - up at 4am and it's a DD - may have to go to bed at 8pm

Little late getting started this month since today's my first day back to JUDDD after being off work for medical issues (re: surgery!).

7/05: UD - 212.4 (4th of July = too many carbs)
7/06: DD - 213.4
7/07: UD - 212.4
7/08: MD - DNW
7/09: DD - DNW
7/10 UD - 211.8
7/11 DD - 213.8

So, I start this JUDDD journey in March at 217.2. Lowest I got to 208.8 and that was in May.

If I knew for certain what, exactly, causes me to have stretches of good consecutive losses you better believe I'd be sharing with y'all!

When I first started JUDDD, I lost like I have been the last few days. I tend to lose in pretty good chunks then pogo stick up and down for a while, then lose some more.

One thing I do think has helped is that the weather here has changed. It's cooled down quite a bit from what it had been and we've gotten some rain. When it's hot and humid I tend to retain water, especially if I'm outside working in the yard/garden. I've been peeing a lot the last few days.

And, I've recently just let go and finally given to God a situation that has greatly troubled me for a long, long time, something that I have absolutely NO ability to change. I think my cortisol levels have decreased due to not having persistent, underlying worry all day, every day. I'm sleeping a whole lot better now and getting good sleep is so important with regards to how other hormones that play a role in weight loss/gain function.

But it may be that in a few days it'll look like I'm not doing anything and I'll be playing with the pogo stick again.

Hey Gracie!

I started JUDDD weighing in at 227lbs. The JUDDD calculator (on Dr. J's page) calls for a little over 2000 for UD and right around 400 for DD using the 20% level. I still use the upper number for UD and have (very) occasionally gone over it by 200 calories or so, but usually come pretty close most days. Almost all of my DDs are true fasting days; it's easier for me and I feel better when I fast.

I briefly tried lowering my UD calories, thinking that as I lost weight I "should", kwim? But it ended up that I actually slowed down, so I raised them back to where they had been and started losing consistently again. My goal is to arrive at maintenance (whenever and wherever on the scale that happens to be) being able to have a generous calorie allowance.

Wow! You have done awesome with JUDDD! So, on your DDs you don't eat anything at all? I think the longest I have fasted was about 20 hours. It does feel good though to feel "empty" - KWIM?

Stick to JUDDD even when the bounces/fluctuations discourage me
Decided to incorporate JUDDD/Warrior 7/9/12 to control my eating on Up days
