Do you have H-Mart? I saw something that looked almost identical and has 20 calories a pop. Couldn't say what they were called, since it was in Korean or Chinese, but they appeared to be exactly the same.

100g stirfried shredded cabbage with salt and pepper with 1 cooked egg. I like a runny egg so it went all over the cabbage (I know I may sound like a sicko)
I had this yesterday and it was filling for about 95 cal.

I know this doesn't really apply to 100 calorie foods...

But I find when I want something crunchy I can eat a few dill pickles spears and believe it or not, they will also cure a sweet craving because of them being sour...they stimulate a different taste bud on your tongue sending a different message to the brain. Most dill pickle spears have 0 calories. The splenda bread & butter/sweet pickles are good, too...with minimal calories

HTH

4 spring rolls! Woohoo! I buy these HUGE spring roll wrappers that are only 20 cals each. I stir fry some cabbage and shredded ginger with spices and fill them up and bake them. They come in right around 100 cals. SOOO filling! What a treat. It's my dinner tonight...One egg roll and 7 spring rolls...I'd planned on 3 egg rolls but went out and purchased my fave spring roll wrappers and will have 7 of those and one egg roll instead. Looking forward to dinner! I'm only about 70 cals in for the day and saving the rest for dinner and cocoa for a treat tonight...

I know there are great recipes for Miracle / Shiratke noodles.... But sometimes I'm too lazy for some of them. I like to take a package of whatever shape on hand and boil it with a ramen noodle packet. If I'm not lazy I chop up some veggies and add for a ramen soup or I'll throw in a little cooked chicken breast if I have it sitting in my fridge. But mostly, I just boil it with a ramen spice packet and make a simple broth with the noodles. I find it way more satisfying than plain broth and while I'm sure the sodium is astronomical, I like all the different flavore of ramen. And for basically $.13 per package I don't care that I'm throwing away the ramen noodles themselves. If I have 100 cal sitting around I know i can bulk it up with the veg/chicken or have it plain twice in a day without even getting close to 100 cals.

Who knew those baby Persian cukes were so low cal?? Three small ones are 10 cal! So nine of them, and a 1/2 cup of baby carrots is 65 calories, with 2 T ff ranch dressing for 30....and very satisfying to munch on for a total of 95.

(I am loving having a kitchen scale! Its loads of fun to measure portions...yes. I am weird! )

I made a broccoli and leek soup the other day...I used two quarts of homemade chicken broth that I defatted, added a Trader Joes package of frozen leeks, a one pound package of frozen broccoli florets, two carrots peeled and chunked and two small potatoes, peeled and cubed. I simmered this until everything was done and soft, then used my immersion blender until it was smooth. I added a little glucomannan to thicken it. Season it with salt and pepper.... One cup is about 75 calories, and with a tablespoon of ff greek yogurt, closer to 100. Its very filling.

Your soup sounds delish! All of you gals have wonderful ideas.

DD can be fun and creative.

I made some Danish aebleskivers with Quizoid's Better than Flour mix.
Need to get the cal/carb count to see if they would be a good DD snack.

Thanks to you all.

I want to know how easy it is to fold spring rolls. I found the wrappers at Walmart, but didn't have enough confidence to buy them and be sure I wouldn't make a mess of things. If anyone has experience, could you post exactly how you use them, fold them and cook them, please? Do they have to be brushed with egg whites or anything?

I found Suzy's thin cakes at H-Mart yesterday. They are not like Kim's Magic Pops, but are similar to Kim's Deli pops. I like Kim's Deli pops better, but the Suzy's thin cakes are nice with laughing cow or PB2.
