I make mine with very sweet cooked pudding This recipe is per cup of almond milk. I generally make a triple batch. You can leave out the sugar and use erythritol or xylitol, but my popsicle maker requires some sugar for release and I think it fools me better. If you use the sweetened chocolate almond milk you could leave it out too. From the triple batch, I make two dozen popsicles and hubs steals the rest of the pudding. At about 50 cal you can have two for your hundred cal snack. If you like a different sweet balance you will have to adjust for your palate, but remember that cold kills the sweet taste so it has to be sweeter than you think for freezing. Whisk together in a heavy saucepan until smooth: (start with all the powders and just a little milk to get a paste, then add the rest) 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk 2 Tbsp cocoa, 2 Tbsp sugar, 2 Tbsp powdered stevia with inulin (sweetleaf is the brand I use) 1 egg yolk 2 Tbsp organic cornstarch Cook over medium heat until it begins to bubble and thicken, stirring constantly, turn to low and simmer one minute more. Add 1/3 bar of broken up 100% cacoa unsweetened chocolate and 1 tsp vanilla, stir just until melted. Remove from heat. I pour the triple batch into a one quart rubbermaid bottle and put in fridge to cool. This makes the perfect dispenser for popsicles with the squeezability and smaller opening in the lid. I then fill 2oz popsicle molds, both my tupperware ice tups and zoku are 2oz so I do both. Takes overnight to freeze the regular molds. Little tiny dixie cups work too, but the timing on inserting the sticks always eludes me.

If you have the calories to spare you can pop some little tidbits into the pops as you fill.
Frozen unsweetened cherries are to die for, I do pudding - two cherries-pudding-two cherries-pudding. My son did that with junior mints. I don't want the corn syrup, so might try just adding some peppermint oil to the pudding. My next try will be vanilla with lavender buds, probably half pudding half greek yogurt. I also have some fresh figs on hand, a few chopped bits of fig in vanilla would be BOMB |

![]() I also use a little sugar, agave, honey etc with my the substitute ones, it gives me a little lift and I've read that your body in tasting something sweet, (especially artificial sweeteners), expects it. When it doesn't get the real thing it can cause cravings for it. . ------ Mere |

I've found it in most stores in the refrigerated area near produce. I've gotten it at SaveMart (may be a local chain), Whole Foods, and any Asian market.

Right now I am actually using a bottle of white chocolate Monin that I got at TJMaxx. But I do like the white chocolate DaVinci's just as much.
I have many other favorite DaVinci flavors, but not that I've used in the iced coffee. I also love the peanut butter, English toffee, almond, and butterscotch. ![]() |

@Carley; do you mean dolce de leche the original? Or is this a flavor of something? I find the original/actual to be a little sweet but I'm all for trying new flavors of things

Bowl of romaine lettuce with a sliced Roma tomato. A drizzle of real ranch dressing, just enough to wet the lettuce. Honestly though, I don't count lettuce calories, to me it's just basically crunchy water.

Great ideas! I also love the kettlecorn and sf fudgecicles for a down day treat. If I'm going for filling, for me a boca burger (70 cals) wrapped in a low carb tortilla (45 cals) is really filling for 115 cals. That's my go-to down day meal and it's ready in just over one minute!

I love apples too. Our Costco store carries organic apple slices in packets that are 90 calories each. I love to sprinkle them with cinnamon. The packages are so handy. If I am going to be out on a DD, I'll often take a packet along.

A big big salad with a touch of olive oil and lime juice. Add in prawns, chicken livers - any low cal protein. I don't count green veg so you can bulk up with these and they are SO good for you.
If it's sweetness you crave though sometimes two squares of super good high cocoa content chocolate hits the spot. |

Way too much time on my hands!

If you want a HUGE bang for your buck, and you're wanting a HUGE snack, you could fix four of those big 5 to 6-inch Magic Pop crispy cracker/disks, each spread with 1/2 of an Aldi's lite cheese wedge..
So 2 Aldi lite cheese wedges for 50 calories (25 cal each), and 4 enormous Magic Pop crisps, at 15 cals each for another 60 calories.. totals 110, so if you were definitely not going to go over that extra 10 cals, you could refuse to eat all of that fourth cheese-spread crispy. ![]() |
