This sounds really good! Might try!

It depends.

I might have a Jimmy John's turkey sandwich for 317 calories (hold the mayo). I might have cabbage and chicken and laughing cow for 220 calories. I might have a homemade turkey sandwich for 160 calories. Or some soup. Or just a bag of microwave popcorn. It varies a lot for me. I used to have the same menu every DD, but gradually that has changed.

That's not necessarily a good thing; studies show that the more varied the diet, the more we eat. It's thought that novelty and variety encourage us to eat more. So to eat less, sticking to a few tried and true things is better than changing it up too often. Or at least if you believe the studies. I find that variety does that for me.

I get tired of certain things ... and then, just cooking them can make me GAG. I am such a child that way. We ate a lot of steamed brocc at first. I can't even think about that now.

Another GO TO for me is grilled mushrooms. 1 cup = 15 calories and I love my MUSHROOMS!

I've just started, but I've been eating campbells harvest select light soups. they've been surprisingly good and filling, usually less than 200 cal for a big bowl.

I do this or Progresso when I am in a hurry and mix in bit of miracle noodles!

Wonderful, that we can find something that tastes this good in a can.

Wendy's is pretty big here in canada. I like their salads. And of course, the baked potatoes!!! Which i heard are soaked in oil. Not sure if that's true or not nbit it doesn't stop me from adding more butter and then of course, sour cream . But it's good to know the chili is DD option.

Something I found when first starting that I really, really need to get back to doing. Cream of wheat anywhere from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., with my first 30 oz of water. At only 120 cals, it is very filling and it keeps me, um, regular.

Oh, but I see you asked about dinner. I used to eat it for dinner too. Or I do a lot of lean meat, veggies, salads. I posted a recipe for my MILs low cal ranch dressing and it's terrific at only 25 cals a Tbsp.

Dee, it is delightful! My MIL keeps me stocked, since she loves to cook and I abhor it! It rivals Hidden Valley, my fave Ranch while lc'ing.
