Yup, that's the other thing... Talapia.
I hadn't thought of the portabellas for a "burger" may try that on Sunday since I'm going to a BBQ and it should be a DD. I want to avoid a MD if possible and now I have a plan- Thanks! |

I must try the better than bullion. I use a powdered broth: 15 c. Tsp, but it's not that great.

They're not sugar-free, but they're a lot lower than flavors like Teriyaki! They're also much more moist and tender than traditional jerky. 1oz=60cals, 1g fat, 2g carb (1g sugar), 12g protein. I just googled "sugar free jerky"...there are some brands out there, and a website called Cowboy Dan's that has several SF varieties. But SF is hard to find in the average grocery store/Walmart etc. ![]() |

Tilapia; tuna in water; pouch salmon; shrimp; chicken breast; springerhill ranch 98% lean ground beef(Randalls/safeway carries it). (all my proteins are under 130cals per 4oz serving for convenience).
Bell peppers; celery; green onions(easy to count); shredded and head cabbage; romaine and spinach blend; canned green beans; cucumbers; frozen cauliflower and broccoli; ro-tel tomatoes. Light or FF salad dressing; light sour cream; miracle whip light; spray salad dressings (kraft or wishboone, I don't remember which brand); Heinz 1-carb catsup; Kikkoman Ponzu sauce. Laughing cow or WW cheese; natures own double fiber bread (50cals a slice) or sarah lee delightful whole wheat (45 cals a slice); kroger has 100% whole wheat sandwich thins in the freezer section @ 90 cals per serving(bought them but haven't tried them); Joseph's l/c pitas and lavash; flatout light flat breads; Cheeze-it's 100 cal packs (my guilty occasional pleasure). I have a few Misto sprayers with different oils (olive, avocado, macadamia, sesame) that I use as well. (Less than 1tsp worth of spray, so about 20 cals) when I want "fat" on my salads or want to saute something 'in oil'. Some lean cuisine frozen meals in the freezer "just in case".
