Supplements?
Just curious as to what vitamins/supplements y'all take daily? And do any of you use digestive enzymes?

I take meds: Levothyroxine and Atenolol. Supplements: a multivitamin and a calcium/D3 combo. I take Benadryl at night for allergies and the added benefit of drowsiness.
I tried Resveratrol and Biotin. Both gave me migraines. I think I'm super sensitive to things lately. I also quit taking Magnesium. |

Vit C 500 g
Complete vit B complex D3 1000 iu All for general health Selenium 100ug Sea Kelp (for a thyroid kick up the pants) MSM 750 mg Horsetail The last two for skin hair and nails. The horsetail has really helped my nails. Usually take Magnesium Citrate as well I could pop pills all day, given the advice out there. You have to cull them to what you personally seem to need. I also use Maca powder if I make smoothies. Nice malty taste and gives you a slight boost. |

I see I posted on the last thread. Since then I stopped the fish oil supplements as I eat masses of oily fish anyway and the capsules can be rancid which is not good.

zinc and D3 and K2 sporadically, iodine in cycles, diatomaceous earth sporadic cycles, I think that is it. |

I don't use digestive enzymes. And I am really bad about being consistent with my supplements. I have a shelf full and randomly take them. BUT here is what I try to take:
multi vitamin, D3, resveratrol, L-glutamine, Chromium Picolinate, potassium, magnesium and I have a slew of others that I take every once in awhile. |

Yes--digestive enzymes are wonderful!
I used to take them quite regularly; I would feel tired after almost every time I ate, and I believe the enzymes eliminated that tiredness. I don't remember to take them as often, now, unless I feel too full or something. And I don't take them when I take a carb blocker; they cancel each other out, lol. I also take probiotics. And I always have papaya enzymes on hand for upset tummies. |

I was taking digestive enzymes for awhile (I think I have gallstones from the looks of an xray at my chiro) because I was having bloating issues and slow digestion. Now that I've been JUDDDing awhile I've discontinued taking them and all seems fine.
I also cut a lot of other supplements noticing no difference and now I am down to just taking: Ubiquinol (co-q-10 for those over 50 LOL) Krill Oil Astaxathin St. John's Wort A really good food based multi-vitamin I take D3 in the winter and this time of year only on days I don't get out in the sun. |
