UD here and I'm still 300 calories too low for the day so a glass of wine (or several) is calling my name. To spare everyone confusion, I thought I would type here before, not after the wine

I'm retaining a lot of water lately and I don't know if I should take steps to lessen the problem or just bide my time. I blame the heat but I feel absolutely jiggly lately and would love to get back into some smaller pants. Any suggestions?

I love it when I have calories to spend at the end of the day Brewstate! My only suggestions for the water retention are ones you already know - drink lots of water, lemon water, eat cucumbers, take a walk, get bigger rings

I know I am swollen. Feeling TOM rearing and I definitely had fewer trips to the bathroom then I should have today. Fearing the scale tomorrow. Stupidly added popcorn to my DD today - ouch.

I had a fasting DD today following my 1/2 cup of coffee that I did not want after I fixed it. Let's see what the scale has in store for me tomorrow.

My DD is still within my 45% range - but we were invited out to lunch! Did quite well - oysters and a greek salad. But then wanted my planned dinner! Also snuck in a coffee and 2 glasses of fizz!!!

WOE: JUDDD/PHD, LC now that my BG is getting weird
Start Date: JUDDD 1/1/12 + LCHF 12/1/13 (controlling diabetes)
So far, with one exception, I am eating (in descending caloric order) fat, veggies, meat. Not counting carbs, they don't seem to effect me badly anymore.

I have had some acid reflux issues. But think that was because I went back to eating coconut oil. If stopping that does not work, I will have to go hunting for food reactions (please don't let it be cheese!)

Weight loss is slow-n-steady. I like this Clean Eating idea!

Love this! I actually managed to remember about the different DD% numbers and NOT freak out yesterday when I was super hungry all day (I think it's b/c I didn't have my usual green tea in the morning, but maybe it was just a hungry day).

Today is my UD, and I'm going to stay very low carb, try to drop the 1lb gain I have (likely water from my weekend food choices and lots of wine...) and I'm just not freaking out

Well I lost some more weight!! Still not back to the weight in my profile - but very close!!!

Today is an UD!!! And it's already 4th of July here in Australia - so DH and I are considering going out for pancakes - not terribly American Style here - but the idea is quite appealing!!

DH's off out tonight for the biggest sporting event of the year for Queensland - State of Origin - it's a Rugby League match between Queensland and New South Wales - and it's the decider of 3 - I'll be home eating something yummy!! Then he's off for 2 days in to the Outback on a driving job - so another good 2 days on my own!! Should manage to eat well - particularly as the sun is back out!

Well done on remembering yesterday wasn't a blow out Sorenkkg - I wouldn't recommend it all the time - but it gives me less guilt issues and something to work with when necessary!

Hello Budds!
I am still in the challenge even though I have decided to stop counting calories for the time being, as the carbs in my diet caused me incredible foods cravings (also PMS related). So technically I am not on JUDD right now. Hope it is OK if hang out with you.
My goal in this challenge is so to eat very limited carbs for the next 2 weeks (atkins induction). My weight went up by 3 lbs and I hope to get back to my lowest weight soon.

I didn't count calories at all today - bad, bad me. Just a busy, fractured day. I don't think it was an UUAD though. Probably came in about the right calories but I did have half a diet soda - oops.

Happy 4th of July everyone! Mine should be a DD challenge. House guests. A full day of activities then dinner out. My plan is to fast till dinner and try to limit dinner to light fare. Wish me luck!

I'm here. I had a good UD yesterday, didn't go over, no chocolate in sight.

Today is a DD, and I'm up earlier than I'd like to be (waiting for landscaping guys to do our backyard) and thus, more potential to eat. But I've been up for about an hour or so and nothing yet.

I'll brew my green tea (to be iced) and get started that way. My plan today is to see if having something for breakfast (hb egg) and lunch (another egg) helps me feel less hungry later on.
