It's HUMP DAY!!! My this week is flying by!
Down day for me. B - cottage cheese and strawberries 127c L - lettuce, chicken, guac, corn/zucc/squash tomato, sour cream 231c D - I'm thinking roasted cauli and peaches! 116c 476c I am sure I will have something else in there. Tummy is already growling! ![]() |

B: coffee L: stir fried cabbage and some kind of meat D: shirataki and egg white stir fry. Better than it sounds by the time I add hot sauce and spices. Total: 400-450 This would escalate to 800 if there were any skinny cows left in the freezer. Thankfully there aren't. Happy day everyone. |

Today I have all my supplies together for making shredded-vegetable wraps. Breakfast - 1/2 large apple 79 Lunch - shredded carrot/squash wrap with cucumber strips and a little mayo 183 Snack - protein shake with coconut milk 150 Supper - salmon ? - not sure yet . |

Yesterday, down day:
B - 1 thick slice of bacon, diced & cooked, scrambled with 1 egg (270) L - Salmon patty in 1/2 T butter w/lemon juice and 1 T capers (230) S - sample of jalapeno & artichoke dip w/a pita chip at Costco (50?) D - 3 chicken meatballs w/ zatar zucchini, tiny bit olive oil (170) Total: 720 Today: Up day B - 1 thick sliced bacon scrambled in 1 egg (270), 1/2 cinnamon raisin bagel w/ 2 T cream cheese (240) L - 2 slices pumpernickle bread (140), 3 oz roast turkey breast (85), LC cheese wedge (35), 3 oz avocado (140), tomato, cucumber, sprouts, onion (40), 1 oz raspberries (15) = 455 Total D - Sausage & kale soup. 3 oreos for dessert. Still have to ****** the cals. |

Oh lord! I never thought to look. I tell you it's in the most unlikely places. I'm NOT giving up my chili---thyroid be damned!
Who would have thought? Sheesh! ![]() My philosophy at this point is to limit it where I can and not buy any products that have it, but not worry too much about it when I eat out. There's soy flour in most bread, but I don't check the ingredients if I have a hamburger. Thank you for thinking of me. I swear I could just . It appears I may have to actually start cooking if I want to control ingredients. Now I have to go figure out if the bread I use at Subway has soy. That's my other go-to DD food. ETA: Soy or soybean oil is in EVERY Subway bread except their english muffins. Grr. I think my new rule will be just not to have any soy within 6 hours of taking my thyroid meds, and limit it as much as possible.

I was just sitting here and thought I felt the ground shaking. Thought it was an earthquake, maybe. I was just about to call 911 when i realized it was just Soren telling Dawn that her Wendy's EVERYSINGLEDAY chili might have soy in it.
No kidding, I gasped when I read that. (That's what this board can do to you.) Dawn, my condolences if it's true. Hope it's not. Okay everybody, back to work. You guys are the best. |

B- omelette w/mush spinach & cheese 236 L- chinese buffet 1 plate 600 estimate? I love JUDDD, I actually didn't want the sugar ladden breaded chicken stuff so ate veg, rice and some chicken. I feel so much more in control of food D- pork burger w/cheese, lettuce, pickles, onion on wrap and packet of crisps 496 S- raspberry yogurt 108 Total-1440 My JUDDD book arrived today, so will devour that tonight. ![]() |

On the plus side, I just got back from dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, on a DD! I had Mexican lettuce wrap tacos for 250 calories! I'm ending the day at 548, with a meal out at Cheesecake Factory.
