We had DH's oldest son & DIL here visiting, and were joined yesterday with another of his sons w/his DW, and a daughter with her SO yesterday. We had so much fun! But, whew! Spent the day getting the place tidied back up again, leaves taken back out of the table, chairs put back, etc.

Finally got most of the gardening done before their arrival, and have a couple of days mostly free until my daughter & granddaughter and a little friend arrive for another week or 10 days. And then a couple of weeks and my sister arrives for a week. This is turning into a

family

summer, for sure.

I've only popped on to read a bit now and then and post rarely, so this evening I'm going to make up for lost time! And try to get to know some of the newer JUDDD BUDDDs.

Thanks, JUDDD BUDDDs! Having fun reading here and catching up some.

It's certainly still the friendliest and most helpful, encouraging & positive Forum on the boards, isn't it! And wonderful to see so much success happening here with not just weight loss by the scale, but being shown by a tape measure. Inches being lost!

And the food! Wonderful suggestions for low calorie foods for the DDs, and some major mentions of celebratory foods on UDs, vacations, family and friendly gatherings...

I was just thinking about how much I love the Farmer's Market stands of summertime. I can hardly wait until we get into our time of great summer tomatoes and sweet corn!!! And I always go crazy over the crates of dark bing cherries and then nectarines and peaches! And the watermelons. Makes me remember us kids having watermelon seed spitting contests so many, many years ago. Hot Iowa summers. Ice cream in the park. I love this time of year, and especially since I can eat all of that now on JUDDD!
