The best aprt was I didnt kick myself........I ran my mile and said tomorrow will be the best DD I have ever had!!!!!!!! I do love JUDDD!!!!!!!! This little stumble isnt but a small bump in the long run of things!!!!! Thank god JUDDD forgives!!!!!!!!! ![]()

The info on Oreo's should just go ahead and say "one serving size = one package" and be done with it!

I'm capable of scarfing down quite a few calores, so I've learned that there are a lot of things I can't have in my house. I have to do most of my indulging when we go out, lol.

I love your attitude Katie!
Been craving homemade cake or pie, but I know I can't have it in the house period. |

I've never found that a brief binge derails me AS LONG AS I get right back on the wagon. That said, there have been times when a small binge becomes a several day phenomena
.......Good Luck, |

I happened to stop at 1/2 a package of the Keebler Coconut Dreams -- the ones similar to the Girl Scout "Samoas". I guess I'd feel better if I'd had the milk, but I had a Chai Latte, a bowl of ice cream with strawberries, some crackers... and DH's son fixed us lunch for Father's Day -- a pork chop roughly 2" thick, beer/cheese soup and garlic bread (I left the pesky salad alone, tho!). I guess it's another one of those weekends. Yesterday was a birthday/going away party for my son, DIL and grandsons and I ate more than I should have. But tomorrow's a DD and I'll be fine. Again.

Girl, I completely understand. Peanut butter M&M's are NOT allowed in my house. Small bag, medium or even the XL bag, IF OPEN in my house means I work my way through it till it is all gone!
Dust off the cookie crumbs and move on. Good attitude! |

Katie, I love this story. It cracks me up. Although I cannot stand minty Oreos, I spent WAY too long with a grocery cashier last night explaining my problem with Skinny Cows. I buy them in packs of six, and I eat them four at a time. Why do I continue to buy them? I have no idea. I don't buy chips - no way am I balanced enough for that, yet - I don't buy sweet chocolate, I don't buy Twizzlers. It's so strange to see what affects each of us! I can have a freezer full of regular ice cream for my lovely man. No problem. But you can't tear me off those Skinny Cows.

Same thing happened to me last week. My daughter said, "Here's a present for you mom." It was a package of the peanut butter oreo cookies. Luckily, she had eaten 2 of the 3 sleeves. I did eat the rest (with milk). I can't have them in the house, but I did eat them without guilt for the first time in many years.

Today has been very stressful already so I decided I was going to "waste" a huge amount of my calories on something I haven't had in about 5 years. Its 9:30 AM and I've already eaten 850 calories of homemade rice krispy treats
Hit the spot perfectly and they tasted just as good as I remembered. Now to finish off my UD with a healthier finish but wow did I enjoy that. |

At a restaurant, when they bring the hot luscious basket of "crack" tortilla chips, I can't wait to dive bomb into the basket. My hand becomes this machine that is like a robot and moves from the basket to my mouth, to the basket to my mouth. The only thing that prevents me from inhaling the basket is I would be so embarrassed to not leave half for whoever I was sharing the meal with. Sometimes I mentally divide the basket in half, eat my share and then sit and stare at it to see if the other person is not going to finish "their half". Last time I went with a friend, she said, "uh... you sure love those chips, don't you!" ![]() ![]() Yep, yep I do.

I have noticed one thing, I usually go overboard when I am alone at home. I would not binge the way I do if someone was watching me eat. Anyone else notice the same?

My boxer and chocolate lab come to the kitchen and stare even when I am fixing a drink.
I am embarrassed to admit that this is enough to keep me from snacking! My lab is about 10 to 15 lbs overweight, and if she can't have snacks then neither can I. ![]() |

Beverly, I have a STRONG love for tortilla chips, but the deal is that I really love the salsa & would look silly eating salsa with a spoon.
So, I made myself a deal when I began low carb and JUDDD, when eating at Mexican restaurants, I can only have 10 chips, which is 19 carbs. No flour or corn tortillas w/ my meal and I can have as much salsa, guaco and veggies as I want. It is very hard, but if I go overboard, then I really have hell to pay. Although, sometimes, I forgo the chips for the margarita. ![]()

I had peanut butter cups for breakfast today. They were all I could think about yesterday while I was eating my damn cabbage
![]() I could easily eat a package of Oreos. I love when they get a little soft. |

I had to make a new habit for myself of never eating anything out of the package or box! If I don't count out a portion or weigh out the portion first, I can't take it out of the kitchen to munch on. I just can't go back to being a *free range* eater! ![]() |
