Hm, grocery shopping...

Better to do on a DD, when everything looks so good and tempting, or better to do on an UD, where everything looks so good and tempting?

I think I've decided it's better to let hubby do the shopping

I don't trust DH enough to let him go grocery shopping. When I had foot surgery he had to do the shopping and he bought all kinds of strange things.

I often go on a DD. I'm not sure why. The only thing that bothers me is when we're at Whole Foods or Trader Joe's and they're giving out samples, and I have to ask Keira if it's something worth buying or not. And yes, I am THAT good on my DDs!

Definately shop on a DD. One it keeps me busy so I don't think about eating. Two it lets me buy everything the day before so I can jump into yummy goodness the next day without having to get dressed first I do have a rule though, I don't buy anything not on my list unless I have been a very good girl

Late on a DD? No. Otherwise, most times are fine. On a DD I also benefit from shopping with a daughter, Dawn! Extra thinking power beyond the person who is not eating! She has a much better handle on what her ddad will want.

One positive thing I will say about shopping on an UD, though, is that you can make sure you have every single thing necessary for your DD. That is something that bugs me - getting well into a DD plan and realizing there was one more thing needed, but left at the grocery store!

My DH does all the food shopping, sometimes I go along. I make the list, he likes to go. If I join him it's only on an UD if I'm being smart that day.

I like to shop on a DD. The more errands I have, the better. Keeps me occupied.

Ditto. Also, the shops here have sales on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which are my DDs anyhow.

I've shopped on DDs and UDs. Doesn't matter as long as I eat something before going shopping.

Im with you. On a dd, i think about all the stuff i may like to have on my UD. Then when i wake on ud, everything is there and i dont have to go anywhere. Dont even eat it half the time. Go figure.

If I go on DD, I like to go in the morn. I usually freeze in any shopping store on a normal day and it it is 10x worse on DD.
