Good Morning
Today is my first DD and I am kind of nervous but I just think I get to eat tomorrow.

I am going to TRY to do the drinks like the book suggest but not sure if i can just do the liquids. I may have a salad for dinner.

Looking at some of the post I guess it is ok to eat food on the down days in you can do the drinks and still get results?

Sweetlilac, lots of us do food for DDs. I'd go nuts doing liquids- not satisfying for me. Good luck today!

I have another 620 to use. I will probably add something to my lunch. Not sure what, protein of some kind.

S: Smoothie - whey, lowfat vanilla yogurt, fresh tangerine juice, 1/2 banana, frozen fruit mix (350)
L: Homemade soup - onions, garlic, carrots, mushrooms, chard, kale, white and red kidney beans, and mini pork/beef meatballs. A little olive oil, white wine, and beef broth for good measure. (500?)
S: 6 strawberries (30), 8 almond butter cookies (160), 11 aerated kisses (200)
S (pre-workout): 1/4 cup cashews (170), 1 apricot, (20)
After workout: 1 cup chocolate milk? (220) I don't know yet. It'll leave me at 2115 for the day.

Strength/stability workout tonight of my own design. I love my Iphone apps! (I just got a Iphone about a month ago and I love all the cool things you can do with it!)

:laugh: I never stick to plans either. Even on DDs when it should be easy... I see it as "women's prerogative."

bummed b/c my scale went UP, but upon great advice received, I'm going to chill for a couple more rotations at least.
I've been posting faithfully in my *********, but will resume posting here too:

B: 3 slices peameal bacon, 1.75oz lappi cheese, about 1c of mixed berries with truvia

D: big ribeye steak, maybe caesar salad, and 86% chocolate and a glass of WINE :)

DD here. I just had oral surgery Friday (all 4 wisdom teeth pulled) and I hate my life right now. Following doctor's orders and sticking to liquids and soups you don't have to chew. CODINE FOR THE WIN - I'm gonna be okay.

Oh Maerow! :hugs: When I had mine out, it was super rough. I won't go into it, but my oral surgeon actually made a couple of housecalls for me.

After "eating", remember to rinse your mouth gently... I found mildly warm water (no salt needed) worked best for me.

Try not to talk too much, and use ice packs/frozen peas... You will be ok!

Oh, and avoid taking any school ID pictures for a week ;) Learned *that* one the hard way!

DD - snacks spread through the day

sliced cucumber w ACV and oregano/garlic salt dressing
half cup of greek yogurt (plain, non-fat) w a half cup of blueberries
cup of cherry tomatoes
medium orange

D: shirataki noodle and chicken/pepper stir fry (Half left over from last DD)

Maybe some homemade ratatouille if I am still hungry. All told should be <500 cals.

:hyst: Lunch plans changed. DH's new office isn't too far from mine, so he called and asked if I wanted to meet for lunch.

In N Out: Mustard-fried hamburger, fries, and diet coke. Not helping my kidney stones too much, but mmm-mmm, it was good! :yummy:

Perhaps dinner should be something somewhat healthy . . . . :o
