Netrition order

Hi all! I am a major lurker and have recently started JUDD after being a faithful Atkins follower for over a year. I had been stalled for 10 weeks on Atkins and found JUDD. I have been doing JUDD for 2 weeks now and have lost 5 pounds!!! I have lost 100 pounds doing Atkins, but I feel like it is time for a new chapter to continue my weightloss. I am loving JUDD for the freedom and still believe in a lower carb lifestyle.

So I am putting in my netrition order and was wondering what do you guys get? I am going to try oat fiber, gluc powder, miracle rice. I am also getting some sugar free syrups. I know it's personal taste, but what do you order?

Thanks!

Wow, :welcome: and congrats on the -100 Atkins lbs and -5 JUDDD lbs!!!

My fave SF syrups are the Monin blackberry & pomegranate--for yogurt, iced tea, and they add an unusual flavor to salad dressings (instead of raspberry) :yummy:

Peach is nice, also, for iced tea.

I'm a big fan of Capella drops. You get a lot more bang for your buck over syrups--less packaging, too. And you can add your own sweetener (like stevia). Plus no artificial colors. My favorites there are root beer, orange creamsicle, & sweet strawberry. Good for yogurt or seltzer.

I just placed an order yesterday and got:
erythritol
poly-D (slightly sweet fiber)
coconut sugar
sugar-free candy (Brach's cinnamon, Russell Stover caramels)

L-Glutamine and Green Coffee Bean Extract; I take these to lower my blood sugar
(I am diabetic) and they seem to help with appetite suppression, too.

You've done amazingly with your weight loss! Congratulations, and I'm so happy to see you here. JUDDD is a whole other world, and I love it!

You pretty much have listed all the things I order. I'm trying Quest bars right now, and have found them very satisfying if you're into that kind of thing. Mainly though, I stay with pretty much "regular" food now that I've been on JUDDD for quite a while. The shirataki (miracle) products really helped in the beginning, but I almost never use them anymore. Same with gluc--I made a couple of gluc puddings and now the bag sits in my pantry gathering dust. Others here really like it though.

Dawn - I have started using 1/2 t of gluc in my oat groats on DD mornings to help me stay full longer but I also rarely use it or the noodles any longer although I have some if I need them. Mostly real food here too.

Ooh .. just got a Netrition order but will have to remember to try the Quest Bars. To the OP, congrats on the weight loss so far and welcome to JUDDD! Here's what I usually get:

CarbQuick
SF DaVinci syrups (those I can't find at World Market)
Capella Drops (trying to use these more)
Erythritol (great to mix with Splenda or other sweeteners)
PB2 (although I can get both flavors locally now)
EZ-Sweetz
Oat Fiber
Glucomannan
Nutiva Virgin Coconut Oil (the big one for Coconut Bark)

That's all I can think of for the moment.

Your order sounds vaguely like my last order! LOL!

A few suggestions... if you like these types of things.

Miss Meringue sugar free mini chocolate meringues - each one is gone in one or two bites, but that bite is only ~2 calories with a nice crunch... and it's chocolate, so you can't go wrong there! ;)

Guy's sugarfree BBQ Sauce - it's like 5 calories per 2 Tbs and tastes fabulous! It's a great sweet bbq sauce that we love! Sometimes I add liquid smoke to it to kick up the smokiness, but it's great by itself as well! I used to use Jok N Al, but Guy's is much better! (And if you ever want to make it stretch, you can mix some up with some broth, then add small amounts of gluc powder to thicken it up.)

PB2 - If you're a peanut butter person and feel like you've gotta have something peanut buttery every day, then try this for DDs. Mix it up with a little water or almond milk for a spread, or you can also add this to some sort of low carb vanilla shake if you want to turn it into a PB shake without adding the calories of regular PB.

Mama Lupe's 7-inch tortillas - They're 60 calories each, and only 3 net carbs! Great for wraps... I also like to use a half of one, spread it with a light laughing cow cheese wedge, and wrap it around a hot dog sometimes... so good, especially if I have the calories for some added American or cheddar - then I melt that on top of the spread cheese wedge before wrapping it around the hot dog. Yummy!

Thanks for all of the ideas! The fruit flavored syrups sound yummy, especially for the summer!

I mostly eat whole foods too, but the recipes I saw sounded good and filling. So I am off to order...

I am in Canada so I ordered some LC products from The Low Carb Grocery.
This time was:
2 pkgs Miracle Noodles Fettuccini (one plain, one herb and garlic to try)
Walden Farms Marshmallow spread (LOVE)
and that's it!

I also ordered from LC Foods in Canada a few weeks ago, and I bought:
LC Foods LC Bread Flour (LOVE)
WF Marshmallow spread
LC pre-made bread (kind of bad on it's own but made a nice grilled cheese) ;)
Banana Whey Protein Isolate powder sweetened with stevia
LC Mac and cheese cup
Sugar-free jello pudding in lemon, pistachio and cheesecake
I haven't tried the mac and cheese or the puddings yet! Happy Ordering!

Desperation made me love the miracle noodle and gluc powder in the early days. Eventually I didn't need them anymore.
