I think an intervention is in order . . .

I just cleaned out my purse and my desk drawer at work and found 10 lipsticks. 5 warms and 5 cools, almost identical to their peers. There's definitely a problem here.

Are you sure you didn't have MY purse???!!! I swear I buy almost identical lipsticks all the time! I'd be horrible in an intervention, I'd take you to Macy's and we would peruse all the lovely lovely lipsticks of the different counters! I'd even buy you a couple!!

Ladies, I think the first step in this intervention is to admit you all have a problem.

Mine is too many iPhone/iPod earbuds and charger cords.

I admitted my major issue on The Playground board a year or so back....I have a problem collecting notebooks, all sizes and shapes, I have no fewer than 25 of them in the house and car.

My makeup issue is eyeshadow but I do have lipstick issues too.

Make up junkie checking in. What's even sadder - I had my hair highlighted brown on Saturday instead of blond. Need NEW COLORS to match the new hair!! (OTOH, my hairdresser brought it up because it was a dramatic change) That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

mine is lip balm. One in the car, one in the handbag, one in the bathroom, one in kitchen. Oh well, a woman has to do what a woman has to do.

Totally relate! I could set up a lipstick store out of my purse, but I'm always huffing and puffing that I can't find one when I need it! I have 3 make-up bags in my desk at work and 3 at home that I use all the time. I have more bags stashed away with the make-up I don't really use, but can't part with. I should get a duffle bag... or 2!

In the car I have 1 Blistex regular, 1 Blistex Lip Tint (I think that is what it's called), a couple Burt's Bees balms and two Sugar lip thingies I git for my Birthday from Sephora, it's nice but too lemony for my taste. In my purse I have at least 3 Blistex assorted flavors....way too many lip balms!!

Speaking of makeup hoarding.....MASCARA anyone???????

I've actually cut back a bit - only 83 tubes in the lipstick drawer, 3 in my purse and 7 at work. Food isn't my only weakness.

I have a big basket of all of my favorite lip balms next to my bed, there must be at least 40 of them. Of course my favorite is my recipe that I make myself. One that I love is called Everon, it smells like roses.

The worst part is that I never use up the eyeshadows by the expiration date, and end up using them way past expiration. Oddly enough, I just realized I've only gotten one eyeshadow since I started JUDDD, which was last October. This is weird for me.

Hair ties. Dozens of them at all times. If I ever really needed to I could string them together and climb out of a second story window!

Foundation seems to be my addiction. I'm olive skinned, so I keep trying and trying and trying to match my complexion.

See now, that's the funny part, I only wear eyeshadow probably twice a week and have....I don't even want to count how many eyeshadows! I do wear mascara almost daily and have ten tubes......that I'll admit to!

I do wear eyeshadow every weekday when I go to work, since I've been asked if I'm "tired" or if I'm "feeling ok" when I don't , but even so, I could never get through that huge stash I have!

Seriously? I didn't even KNOW there was such a thing!!!! My eyelids should be rotted off by now if that's the case.

What I wanna know is - how in tarnation do men get along without a man bag??? Oh, wait. They put THEIR stuff in OUR purses ...

Lip balms and cuticle creams. I have at least one of each on each desk, in the drawer beside my TV-watching chair, in each of my bags...

I love Burt's Bees lemon cuticle cream. And in a pinch, I can use it as a lip balm, too!

It's not makeup but can one ever have too many teddy bears. I collect them from everywhere. My husband had a favorite shirt given to him by our daughter. It was so old and he couldn't wear it anymore but didn't want to toss it. I had it made into a keepsake teddy bear for him. He loves it.

I hoard Whole Foods bags! I forget mine every time I go there, and I want to save the environment, so I buy another reusable bag or two. I must have 20 of them. Probably not any better for the environment!

On the plus side, I took all my lipsticks home. I now have 1 warm and 1 cool in my desk drawer, 1 of each in my purse, and the rest are in my makeup drawer.

Me too! I want at least one within easy reach, no matter where I am.

I have one in the pocket of every jacket I own.

I love the Whole Foods brand one. It is mostly coconut oil and if I forget and one gets in the dryer, it washes right back out. Chapstick gave me fits trying to get it out of clothes if it melted..
