Way to go Jo, Adi! Exciting! And thanks Barb, Henush, Lynn. I haven't weighed today. One, because I go up after DDs. Two, I dunno, I feel as though I saw a number I'm not quite ready to see. A brighter woman might have surmised that 136 was bound to come after 137, but I hadn't thought that through, somehow.
I'll just carry on for a few days till I feel ready to look again.
Happy day everybody. It seems this JUDDD thing really works. (And to anybody who's frustrated, I lost and gained the same four pounds for the first month. No real change in numbers until after that.)

WTG Kristin!!! As odd as it sounds, getting to that final goal can be a bit of a mental puzzle. I know for me, it was sort of a 'what do I do now?" time. For most of my adult life, I've been trying to lose weight. And now, suddenly, I did not have that as a 'goal'. So I felt a little lost or floundering at first. And of course, the scale bounced and I panicked a bit thinking it wasn't going to stick. But for me, once I see a new number, it takes about 4 days after the bounce before I see it again, and then it becomes solid after a day or 2. Anyway, take a little time to process this mental shift. Let yourself feel all the conflicting feelings that may pop up. And head over to the Maintain Lane thread, read it, and post so you can have a place to work out these early days of learning to live in maintenance. Congratulations!!!!

Made my May goal of maintaining at 125. Going to try to make my bounce range 122-125, so need to drop 2-3 pounds.


6/1 125 UD (1589 cal, 158g carbs)
6/2 125 DD (828 cal, 82g carbs) even with the cast party, was able to hit maint. cals for a dd.
6/3 125 UD (1545 cal, 79g carbs)
6/4 125 High DD (973 cal, 61g carbs)
6/5 125 Not counting
6/6 128.0 I got a new scale, it weighs 2 pounds heavier than the old (I'm weighing on both for a bit), so compares to 126. Muscles a little sore from my new ballet workout.

My goal for June is to be somewhere (anywhere) in the 180's by the end of the month.

6/2 - DD - 193.2 - I ate my fill of watermelon on my UD yesterday and peed my head off as an expected result. I'm real good about drinking water so I have to wonder if the watermelon didn't give me an extra push. Dunno but not going to overthink it.

June Goal: I would love to be at 200 for a friends wedding in August. I would have to loose 1.8lbs a week for this to happen. Feels like a lot of pressure. Let's see how it goes.

I am so happy that my new low has stuck (although I am losing much slower than lots with my level of weight to lose!) Only just over a pund to lose to reach goal for June! I love JUDDD!
Goal for June is a loss of 6.5 lbs, to 243 or 17 st 5lb.

Looks like we're all doing well and enjoying it. What more can you ask for!

This was my first week, not quite a week I started monday but decided to WI today and I've lost 4.5 lbs. This really works. I know my losses will slow down but don't mind I'm loving JUDDD

Ok - spill it! I know you can't compare losses between people because there are infinite factors involved. But I'd love to hear some menus and approaches from some of our speedy losers and I am betting I am not alone in this request! Wildirishrise, Sheridan, fairy wren, Melissa- even Keirasmom while still in maintenance for heavens sake! Any words of advise or tips?
