I love THIS!!!

I just wanted to tell you all how excited I am about this new WOE. I had an up day yesterday and really tracked my calories was about 50 too many and I lost 1.5 pounds this morning. How awesome is that? I'm not at a new low but bet I will be soon.

After going to nothing but eggs on low carb for a while this feels so decadant. I'm eating vegetables like crazy and still losing weight. So just wanted you all to know that I you guys!!

^^That made me smile.

Most vegetables are packed with good stuff and almost all are very low calorie and one of the traditional primary food groups for dieters.

You sound just like me. I've been doing the egg fast for a fwe days every week, just to meet my weight loss goals. But even with that, I'm struggling to lose a pound a week!

I would LOVE to dive into a plate of roasted veggies right now. While I love how LC eating helps keep my cravings under control, I still feel like I'm missing out and I miss enjoying my food.

I've been creeping the JUDDD forum for a bit, and posts like this are calling my name !!!

Wonderful!

One thing I've realized over this past year (and especially since starting JUDDD in Jan), all carbs are NOT created equal. I can eat all the veggies I want (excluding corn), and not have any issues with cravings. I can have a *little* bit of grain a couple times a week (like 1 slice of bread, or a muffin with supper), but more than that, and cravings kick in (not to mention gas/bloating because my body really doesn't like wheat). I can have a sweet potato once or twice a week with no problem at all. I can even have some blueberries or strawberries in my morning smoothie.

But refined sugar, even a little bit, will set me to scrounging the pantry/fridge for more, more, more carby food. (and even though it's carb free, artificial sweetener will have the exact same effect--Stevia, however, does NOT). And any more than the small amounts of grain mentioned above, or a white potato will do the same.

So, sweetie pie, you may just be able to dive into the veggies without any ill effects.

Me too, actually its sugar, if I have a little bit Im starving all day and I will eat it until I have a headache and feel horrible. As long as I stay away from it I can gorge myslef in veggies, most of the meals I make are stir frys or lettuce wraps. My Dh is on a veggie kick, juicing etc, and he has lost 23lbs hardly trying, hes not on Juddd and is a man but still efortlessly losing weight, nice

Great I know what you mean. I did an egg and meat fast for 5 days before I went on JUDD and it was plain boring.
