This thread was an almost revelation for me and is helping me get back on track.

I have one not so perfect DD (a few hundred calories over) and fall off plan all together. I think this will help me with stay on track.

When I eat 700 calories I don't have to think I have blown it. I am still in weight loss range.

I too am so glad to have seen this thread. One of my biggest stumbling blocks in the weight loss game is "all or nothing" thinking. I really want to get out of that insane mode, and this thread has clearly articulated a way to view this plan and use the plan information to make this is realistic livable plan.

Thank you!!!!!

Beth

you and me both! I have got to lose that all or nothing mind set. It works well when I am in all mode but not for when I switch over to nothing! ha

The great thing about juddd is that each day is a new day and one day that turned into an ooops doesn't have to drag out for days or weeks and you don't have to worry that one day will set you back tremendously like with many low carb plans when one gets knocked out of ketosis. Once a judder is SIRT saturated those SIRTs stick around and you just brush yourself off and continue to rotate. I love Cindy's (Kissa's) siggy- rotate, relax, reduce, rejoice- or something very similar!

Thanks for bumping this up, Christina! I went back to the calculator and printed out my ranges from 20% all the way up to 50%.

Gosh, most of the days that I've called a MD (not many in the past few weeks but a few) could have been called high DDs.

This is more motivation and reason to rejoice! It affirms the truth that JUDDD is truly flexible and there is never a reason to give up or feel like a failure.

When I have an interrupted DD that turns into a MD because of an unexpected social event or family get together, I used to have a tendency to feel like I blew it because I couldn't stick to my planned DD.

Wow. This is a great reminder that I do have options and I can stay the course with no self condemnation.

Cool beans!!

Thanks 2boysmom!!!

Thanks for bumping, Christina!

Even though I'm in a good routine again and reclaimed my mojo, this post brought a lot of info back that I sometimes forget.....
