Calorie shake up's

So interesting....
Seems either it was just time for me to drop some weight, or my body decided it really likes shaking things up all the time.

I had been doing really decent with my UD and DD calories and rotation - - not dropping weight.... This last week-end, I kept with the UD and DD rotation, but ate way more calories on my DD than I should and probably extra on the UD too .... I couldn't really keep track...out of town. Anyway... today I wasn't going to get on the scale...then I decided I had to "OWN" it. Guess what... 1.2 pounds gone since Friday. Now ... I know they will bounce, but.... yeah!

Well done!

You can't do that all the time and expect it to work, but a once in a while eating fest does seem to do something special with your metabolism.

WTG!

First of all, YAY for the good reading on the scale! Always fun to see a nice drop in weight in just a few days.

Secondly, I know what you mean about never really being sure of what actually caused the little whooshes along the way. Had you been losing fat all along, but it was just the held water that made it not look like anything was happening.. until the normal whoosh revealed all the fat that had indeed been lost? Was it a slight change that caused almost immediate weight loss when the previous routine had completely failed? Was it because you delivered a small plate of cookies to the elderly lady living two houses down and the Universe is rewarding you with fat loss? Was it just proof that you body had finally adapted to a plan and was starting to give you the follow-through of weight loss that you were looking for?

Hard to say. Never truly sure since weight loss reflected on the scale is always water weight fluctuations shown within a day or two, and fat losses revealed after many days of the actual fat loss. Usually.

But the scale is showing loss, so that's happy news! Congrats!

Just to clarify a little.... I didn't have a food fest - I still tried to work the JUDDD...up and down. Probably 200-300 calories more than usual each day.

With all I have lost (well not much loss... but I will take 12 pounds down )..... I am not seeing any size change.... I still look and feel the same. It usually takes me 20-30 pounds to feel much different.

I only weighed once a week first month
I am weighing after down days this month and my third month I am going to weigh every day .... just trying to get a feel for what is going on with me.

I think I like JUDDD
