Creamsicles!

I was doing an image search for something, and wound up on the creamsicle site...

did you know they make a variety of sugar free and low calorie stuff?

the nutrition facts for a serving, which is TWO, sugar free creamsicles "pops" is:

40 cal
12 g carb (5 polyol and 3 fiber, so net g is 4g for 2 pops!).

Too good to be true? Dunno, but I'm going to be looking for them

* I usually make my own LC ice cream, and it's pretty good... but I can't get over the nostalgia of a real popsicle product*

Well, I have a delicious version of a Creamsicle that includes vanilla vodka and Diet Orange Soda, but I have a feeling that is not what you are talking about...

LOL

the canadian version of popsicle brand does NOT have the sugar free ones... so I'll have to trek over to Buffalo, with a cooler and a lot of ice, if I want to have these. Ah well.

I wish they sold them in just orange ones. I always end up with a lot of grape left over when I used to buy them. I am not a grape lover.

I just looked at the website, it says blueberry ones. I will have to try a box now.

Kristin, if it's any consolation, I can't find them anywhere, and I'm in a good sized California city.

SF orange jello with cream poured on it tastes good enough to pass for one.

This is true-- and if you sub the cream for some of the water, you get a nifty layered effect.

Why do I have the feeling that if I were to have a real creamsicle, it wouldn't be as good as i remember it?

Soren, that certainly was the case for canned ravioli.
Kristin
I'm going to try the jello thing. I've eaten more fake sugar since starting JUDDD than ever before. Sounds like a complaint, but my two skinny cow bars were DELICIOUS today.

I used to eat them all the time years ago. Really good, too! Forgot about them, so thanks for reminding me about them!

I found them yesterday at Winn Dixie. They were a BOGO1. The single price was 4.99, which is ridiculous to me.
