Little help from my JUDDD budds.

I finally dropped the bounce (5lbs) this morning so now Im down 8 in less than 3 weeks. I DO NOT want to mess this up so Im a bit scared to go from routine. Heres my problem. My b-day is next week, and 5 of us are going to a show, dinner and drinks on Sunday night in Reno. I have to make Sunday an UD but its not in this weeks rotation. How do I switch my rotation, and what day should I make the switch for Sunday?

a lot of people have opinions on throwing in a medium day before or after a down day, I don't find that it makes any difference to me which side of a down day the med day falls. Maybe try to fit that med day in today or tomorrow so it isn't right up against your up day (especially if you think you may make the up day a feast/free day) and then get your down day in right on Sat and Mon to bracket the birthday. Enjoy celebrating your life!

First, don't stress!! If it were me, I'd make either Saturday or Monday a MD, then get back into rotation. You'll be fine. There'll no doubt be that lovely bounce, but you'll be fine.

So what your saying is today UD, Wed DD,ud,DD Friday then medium day Saturday,UD Sunday DD monday? Do I have this right?

I'm with b_lou. If I have enough warning, I like to do the md a couple days ahead, so I have a dd both before and after the UUAD.

So
Wed dd
Thur MD
Fri UD
Sat DD
Sun UD
Mon DD

But either way you want to do it will be fine.

The thing is, I wouldn't worry about it too much. How many birthdays are you going to have this year?! You're doing very well, and one day won't slow you down very much.

It's what we do most of the time that will really make a difference, not how we cope with a few days in the year.

Hi Arlene!!! You are doing great I personally would make Monday a MD (around 1300 calories or so) and then Tuesday a DD. My only reasoning is because after having a couple drinks I am always hungry the following day. You don't want your DD to turn into a bingey day. JUDDD is very forgiving so I think any combination would really work. Celebrate your bday without worrying about it After a good DD or 2 you will be back in the groove.

Actually Gracie that may be easier since we wont be home until Monday afternoon and I may need to eat out some where, besides it might be easier to have a Memorial Day BBQ

A Medium Day BBQ would be PERFECT!!! Especially if you keep it low-carb and drink lots of water. Meat, water, meat, veggies, meat, water, VODKA Haha just kidding Serioulsy though, for my bday my hubby took me away for 3 days and I ate whatever I wanted. After 2 good DDs I was back to where I was before the weekend extravaganza. Try not to focus on the food but on the people and having fun. Sometimes I think too much pressure makes me rebel and sabotage myself
