a glass of wine (ok, a cup) didnt bother me either. may have helped, but it messed with my sleeping.
i just dont get how it adds sooooooo much weight and it doesnt come off quickly AND i account for all calories!! i googled for hours the other day... didnt find much other than common sense stuff we already know. calories in it causes you to eat keeps you from burning fat first, etc.... nothing that explains the gain while staying in ur calorie limit. and like sunday, there is a small loss with gain gain stalllllllll and its only one day a week for me. 3 times a month, tops |

OhioGuy, if I had to guess, I would say it has to do with the liver's function in managing weight loss...I guess if you give it a heavier work load it puts fun stuff like losing weight on the back burner until all the booze and booze related nonsense have cleared out.
It kills my losses as well. Boo hiss. : ) D |

This past weekend I didn't do bad food wise but did have beer and wine. So I have no idea how many calories I ate/drank. I always gain from drinking and honestly I didn't even get on the scale this morning. And I wasn't even sure if I should have a DD or UD today since I don't know my calories from the weekend at all. So I haven't counted calories today but I had too many for a DD, so I guess I will call it an UD and have a DD tomorrow.

It was an interesting experiment. One of those that I'm glad I did, but don't think I'll ever do again, you know? I wasn't all that hungry (thank you SIRT gene!), but I was a bit irritable. |

Synger, you crack me up.
If I tried that, I'd be about 12 UDs worth of calories into a bag (a very big bag) of s&v chips by noon. You win, sister. |
