Big hugs to you from me as well. I haven't been around much the past 2 days, but I gather you have settled FIL. Praying life now settles for you a bit as well, and he adjusts quickly to his new surroundings. Too bad about the view. Can you rearrange things at all?

Kissa,you are everything everyone has said and then some! I like what you said about the internet. I used to be skeptical about being on here. You know that fear of the unknown! Boy was I wrong! Being on here with my precious JUDDD BUDDS has been one of the greatest joys!!! Could expound on this but I KNOW you as aware of all the benefit of it! Isn't it "lovely" (in my Kissa-esque words!!!)?

Kissa, would they allow you to at least hang a beautiful painting that "speaks" to your FIL on that blank wall?

You are all so kind.

We have moved some of his photographs and paintings in with him. It an outside wall he sees from the window. It is almost impossible to move the bed so that he could see the 'nice view' of the hills beyond, because of lights, power points etc. No woman designed that room.

Don"t want the good wishes and hugs to end....so sending mine a little late. I know what you mean about the view. My mom is in an assisted living center...has been for 4 years. We love it, but her view is the back parking lot and a brick wall. But she doesn't care! Pictures from home in her room makes it better!
