WOE: lost 23 lbs on Medi Weightloss '11, now JUDDD
Start Date: JUDDD start: May 15, 2012
First DD!

Howdy all! I have been lurking this forum for a couple of weeks and decided to make the jump from MediWeight loss to JUDDD! I hit a stall after just 3 weeks on MWL and got really bored, really fast. Plus its so expensive. I took the last 4 days "off" of any diet and enjoyed myself...now I am focused and ready! I need something for the long haul and this really seems like it might be the one! i want to focus on "low-ish" carbs for my UD's.

I am doing the shakes and bars for DD. I had an ATkins bar for breakfast. I plan to have a shake for lunch and either a shake or bar for dinner. I hope to be able to do full fasting on DD's once I have done the first couple of weeks, but we will see how it goes.

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello! Hello!

WOE: Whatever plan keeps me around 150 lbs!

If you're comfortable with counting calories, you don't have to do shakes and bars. Many of us didn't because we prefer "real food" and still had very good success. If you like the ease of not having to worry about weighing and measuring all your food, then the bars and shakes are great.

This is the greatest WOE and the best board I've ever had the privilege to stalk!

Glad you're joining us. Welcome!

As you get into this way of eating, you will undoubtedly change what you eat, as most of us have, but if the shakes and bars seem easiest for you at the start, you certainly can be successful relying on them.

Your JUDDD education will be of great value to you, and if you can spend lots of time here, that will put you far ahead in the shortest amount of time. Be sure to post here and keep us updated on your progress. Ask any questions, join in the discussions.

This is the most friendly and joyous gathering of folks, and you are going to love it.

Congratulations on your weight loss progress so far and welcome to JUDDD. I think you will find one of the most supportive group of half-time dieters here!

My personal experience was that eating up to my DD calories worked best for me, as opposed to the full fasting. But...everyone is different so best wishes in starting your journey with JUDDD.
