WWYD Mother's Day Eating....

Tomorrow is an UD for me (thankfully). We are taking my MIL out to an Italian restaurant (non-negotiable) where the limited menu consists of 2 choices for me: chicken parm (I would need to remove the cheese as I am lactose intolerant) w/penne pasta or prime rib w/veggie & potato.

I could opt for a salad and/or Italian wedding soup instead.

Then we are going to my brother's house for a cookout where he will be serving the usual cookout-type foods: hot dogs, burgers, chips, dessert (I am in charge of bringing this), cucumber salad, baked beans.

We're eating at 11 and 4:00.

My calories for an UD are 1802. What would you eat?

I would say the prime rib w/ broccoli & salad? Saves more calories for the cookout if that's what you'd prefer. Then enjoy a hot dog, chips, cucumber salad & a bit of dessert! Tonight put it into ************ or whatever calorie counter you use, play around with it to see if you can enjoy it all and still come in around 1802! Enjoy!!

It's Mother's Day so I wouldn't worry too much and just enjoy myself. Though I don't know that I could eat much cook out food after the restaurant meal. So decide which is the one you really would enjoy the most and then plan the other to be as light as possible.

Thanks ladies for your replies

Chicken parm is one of my most favorite meals, so maybe I'll have that and then go light on foods at the cookout, as you suggested.

I just wish my first JUDD weigh-in wasn't the day after an UD and one where I will most likely over-indulge
