It's Pure protein brand whey protein.
It looks like the protein is all whey, but it does have soy lecithin down in the ingredient list as an emulsifier. |

Thanks! I may check it out even with the lecithin. Seems like I can't stay away from ALL soy no matter how hard I try!

I've taken it for years to "heal my gut," but have been sporadic about it. I have read about the many wonders of it and just bought the little tub so I can put some in my smoothies, drinks, coffee, tea, etc. I need to get better about using it everyday, but I notice that it does help slightly with sugar cravings. I only do one scoop (5g) though and it lasts throughout the day. Sometimes, I'll take a supplement. I like ALA and L-Carnitine too.

AjiPure L-Glutamine Powder." They have chocolate whey too, but I've never used it, so I can't vouch for the flavor, but the vanilla is good and it mixes well. They have coupons a lot of the time (for free shipping or 10% off) so google promo codes. I have been trying to go hormone free as well and didn't even thing about my whey protein. Swanson to the rescue!

I buy most of my supplements from Swanson. I trust their quality and their prices are great.
I'm going to get the glutamine powder next time I order. Pretty soon I'll be taking more supplements than eating food... ![]() |

I want to start doing the shakes again on DD's...well, I never did them on DD's, but I used to enjoy shakes every morning, and it did have L-Glut in it. I have a tub of L-Glut going to waste in my pantry, lol. A friend of mine takes L-Glut regularly for other reasons, but says she has to make herself eat because it has suppressed her appetite so completely!

Ok since PJ mentioned in another thread, appetite suppressants, I'm going to try it again. The shakes I bought are supposed to have L-Glut in them, but they do not work to curb hunger. I have the L-Glut powder, as I mentioned above, so I will start taking it regularly and see how it works.

For those of you using L-Glutamine for healing your gut, do you think it works? I have chronic gastritis and would love it if I could actually heal it.
