Just finished my first DD....and

I feel great! Not even hungry this morning. I thought I would be famished! Scale down 4 lbs. I planned my meals for yesterday and prepared them so they were ready and kept myself busy working in the yard. My hardest part will be doing an UD and not going over the calorie allowance.

I am a girl who weighs herself everyday. Have to so I can keep myself on track. I guess I have to be more strict with measurements. I only have been doing that once a month.

This is great to hear, Cassie!! WTG!!!

It's good to plan your UD the same as you did your DD, so that you know ahead of time what you will eat and how much, and for how many calories. Of course things can come up that don't always allow us to eat like we planned.

You are off to a wonderful start. KUTGW, my JUDDD Bud!

Great first DD! And 4 pounds?! Holy smokes that's awesome!

Plan your UD's as carefully as you do your DD's and you'll be fine. (Haha, I didn't see Sophie's response before I posted, really). Welcome to JUDDD!

Thanks All! I do have to tell you that I have been following LC (not to the letter) since January. Sunday was a disaster! Ate too many "bad" foods. I'll have to say that is an UD! LOL I have been reading on here for hours and every word on the Johnson website and really feel that I probably can manage this one without feeling deprived. My family will appreciate this WOE much more. None of them have weight issues so they balk at "Mom's New Diet".

I have to agree, planning is key. I really didnt think this would work for me, but I'm almost 1 week in and already down 6lbs. You will LOVE this plan!

Welcome! You are off to a great start!

Yes, measurements are key. Many of us see inches, sometimes many inches, vanish days or weeks before the scale changes. Measurements can be great motivators.
