I am so glad I read this thread! You guys are awesome and it sounds like JUDDD is what I need to be doing. I am on my 4th day of carbs around 20 a day, and boy am I grumpy. I don't feel deprived, because I am not hungry at all, but I think the carbs are a "feel happy" food and my body is addicted to them like a drug. Reading about the weight loss you ladies and men have accomplished is very encouraging, so I am going to hop over to the JUDDD beginners forum and start ASAP!! I'll report after a week or two and tell ya how it's going. Tanya

I am down 32 pounds today, too. I started on Feb 27 on slow carbs. But, I switched to JUDDD a week or two later. I am sort of a slow loser but I have PCOS and hypothyroid. Losing instead of gaining is always good!

I've officially been on JUDDD for a month as of today, and I've lost 2.5lbs. But the first 2 weeks (maybe a little more) I was going crazy eating every carb I could get my hands on, since I was coming off of a LC woe. So I'm pretty happy with my weight loss, and I think it will probably speed up a little now that I'm not quite so carb-crazy.

I've been on JUDDD for 4 weeks and have lost 8 pounds total - and gained 2 back because I ate a whole bag of Mrs. See's chocolates that I bought for my husband!!! He was out of town for a few days so I thought I'd surprise him but I surprised myself instead. I have no idea why I ate them..I was watching the Olympics and pretty soon they were gone. I'm not really a sweets person so some weirdness was happening that evening. At any rate I'm back on track and want to lose 5 more pounds. I have a couple of trips coming up so it may take a bit.

Ditto Trying JUDDD! I started on March 26th as well and have lost 21 lbs on JUDDD. No kidding! I've been doing it "wrong" most of the time, meaning considerably higher up days of 800 (though I have recently moved them to 600) and that's with two one-week vacations in the mix.

I'm loving it.

6 lbs in 3.5 weeks. Way better than I was doing before JUDDD (when I was Queen of the 2 month plateau!)

I just had a 2lb whoosh, so that puts me at 4.5lbs lost in about a month. A little slow but I'm comfortable with it. I could try and be a little more strict with my calories-right now DD are 550, UD 1800-2000, but at this rate I will be close to 160 by Christmas and not miserable in the process.

Exactly! I swear I have spent so much of my life counting out the weeks until xyz event or date, figuring out my weight if I lost 2+ lbs a week until then, and almost always all for naught. Occasionally I find myself thinking I'm not losing quickly enough--as if I could truly be a failure having just lost 57 lbs (why do we do this to ourselves???)--and then give myself a reality check. It's steady loss, and I'm not miserable at this pace.

79.6 total with JUDDD and Atkins (10/24/11 to present)
69.8 of that with JUDDD since 12/12/11

I round up and count 80 pounds lost in under 10 months. I JUDDD!

Sunday, the whole point of the chili is NOT having to work for it! If I had to rinse, strain, pan fry, yada yada, before eating, I'd just cook for heaven's sake!

I'm with you on that one... I gained back about 5lbs after a trip in May, and 7lbs after my end of July trip... so that's an extra 12 that I lost on top of the real losses
